liberal beliefs: constitution and virginia plan
the articles supported a small federal government, very low taxes, and essentially independence (to an extent)
under the articles, there was shay's rebellion, and widespread unemployment and the nation was broke
then the federal government recieved more power and here we are today |

The actual system on how the congress functioned I like.
The Head of State, President of the Congress, did not have the amount of powers the President of the United States does today, Congress was purely represented by the states and people's representation was in State legislatures. |

Especially in taxation, building an army, and things like that.
Also, keeping the office of Commander-in-Chief separate from the presidency, seems really dangerous. |
