What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object? If the force moves the object, then it is not unmovable. If the force doesn’t, the force is not unstoppable.

It really depends, the force either moves itself around the object, or reflects off.

Here's my answer: ANSWER: This situation can never happen, as if there is an unstoppable force, there couldn’t be an unmovable object and vice versa. More interestingly, there can never be an unmovable object. An unmovable object would have to have infinite inertia, and therefore infinite mass. Infinite mass cannot exist in our finite universe, therefore an unmovable object cannot exist.
Sound good?

Then it does not exist
Or
It changes direction by an outside force. |

The unstoppable object won't move, but it'll puncture it (make a whole)

you do realize that forces can pass through objects and be transferred to others?
you could just say that

It pretty much creates a paradox, because the situation cannot happen.

Well, let’s suppose that we define an “unstoppable” force to be one that can move absolutely any matter. Furthermore, let’s define an “unmovable” object to be one that cannot be moved by any force. In that case, this question is unanswerable, because like the barber paradox above, it relies on contradictory information. By definition our force can move anything, but then, also by definition, there is an object that the force cannot move. This is a bit like saying “suppose X is true, and not X is true. Then is X true?”. Here X is the idea that the force can move anything, and not X is the idea that there is at least one object that cannot be moved by the force (which in this case is our unmovable object). Hence, this question has no answer because it relies on assumptions which contradict each other.

Well actually, its a trick question if you really think about it. The unmovable object can't exist because there is no such thing as something that has enough inertia to be yielded at the same position. Same with the unstoppable force, there would need to be an unlimited amount of energy- and our universe contains but finite energy.

Your answer would just be like, "Scientifically, this event could never occur. There is not enough inertia in an object, nor a force with infinite energy, that can fit the specifications in the question."
