t happened just a couple of weeks ago, they call it the Z-virus. How it happened is just a mix of facts, rumors, and theories. Some say it happened because the dead rose from their graves, others say it happened due to the cure for cancer, the rest just say its some government scheme. Whatever it is, it struck fast and hard. It originated somewhere in China, spread to surrounding countries, then it infected the entire Eastern Hemisphere. Most countries were smart enough to cut off travel to the others...Most of them. It hit South America, then kept progressing up North, Mexico couldn't even keep the border secure for a day. When the first case of the infection was confirmed in Mexico, I'm not gonna lie to you when I say every single troop, tank, helicopter, and jet were deployed to the US-Mexico border... Well, except the ones who were smart enough to call in sick or something... They only lasted 3 days. The bordering states did all they could to keep the infection from spreading, but to no avail. Soon the entire USA was infected, and it has just now begun to spread up to Canada. whats remaining of the US is a group of survivors here and there. We do our best to survive, but it's only a matter of time before you realize you don't have anything else to live for... Question is, are you ready to fight for that amount of time you have left?

Some of the survivors who have met up with one another claim to have encountered infected that have something different about them, making them stand out from the rest of the dead. The following zombies have been reported:
Normal Zombie: Your average walking corpse, moves slowly when idle, sprints when after its food. Can be easily killed with any weapon. Not really a threat when its alone, but when it's got friends they might give you trouble. Can be found anywhere.
Melee Zombie: Apparently, some zombies have been reported to be using blunt objects and/or blades has weapons, pretty much the exact same has the normal zombie, except that it can kill you quicker. Can be found anywhere.
Gun Zombie: Survivors that have returned from a Military Encampment claim to have fought zombies that are capable of using firearms. Reports from scouts say they use Pistols and SMGs only, and they also say these zombies wear body armor that protects them from any attack. Again, same has the Normal Z, except it tends to attack from a distance, and it's harder to bring down. Can be found at any area that contains military personnel.
Juggernaut Zombie: Some survivors have encountered zombies that are bigger than their counterparts, can be easily recognized by an increase of size and muscle mass, along with its increased durability. Can be found anywhere.
Juggernaut Suit Zombie: These zombies are normal sized, but the fact they wear a Military Juggernaut Suit makes them much harder to kill than a Juggernaut Zombie. They use guns just like the Gun Zombies, but they have been reported to use Assault Rifles, and in very rare cases, even Machine Guns. We CANNOT stress this enough: AIM FOR THE HEAD! Can be found in any Military area.
Bio-Suit Zombie: These zombies wear Bio-Hazard suits, they are easily noticeable because their suits reflect any light shined on them. The downside is that their suits make them immune to fire. Can be found anywhere.
Burning Zombie: Zombies that have been lit on fire by a survivor or other cause, once their on fire don't let them get close to you though, they may die quick due to the flames, but if they get close to you, you're gonna have a bad time. Can be found/created by setting a zombie on fire.
Pyromaniac Zombie: Pyromaniacs that have been infected with the virus, due to the fact their body was previously burned, they are resistant to fire, therefore it is not recommended to set these zombies ablaze. Can be found anywhere.

Sidearms
Semi-Automatic Pistols The Standard Sidearm. They fire as fast as you can pull the trigger, and typically have a good sized magazine and nice enough stopping power. They readily take a variety of modifications, including upgrading to Full-Automatic Pistols. Can take Laser Aiming Modules, Flashlights, Pistol Scopes, Extended Magazines, Extended and Threaded Barrels, Compensators, Suppressors, Calibre Swaps.

Revolvers Revolvers are typically Six-Shot pistols. They hit harder than a Standard Semi-Automatic, are more reliable and easy to maintain, and have better range and accuracy. However, they seldom take over 6 rounds, and do not often take modifications very readily, and have much harder recoil than Pistols. Can take Hunting Scopes, Laser Aiming Modules, Extended Barrels, Compensators.

Personal Defense Weapons Personal Defense Weapons are a lot like Sub-Machine Guns, fully automatic and compact, but PDWs typically fire an Armour-Piercing Round, giving better range, accuracy and armor-piercing capabilities than an SMG, but they tend to lack the sheer Fire Rate of an SMG, or the raw Stopping Power. Can take Laser Aiming Modules, Flashlights, Scopes and Sights, Extended Magazines, Suppressors, Flash Hiders.

Primary Weapons
Sub-Machine Guns Sub-Machine Guns are fully-automatic weapons firing pistol cartridges at a very high rate of fire. They are not as powerful as an Assault Rifle, and lack the range of a Rifle, but they fire much faster and have less recoil, as well as being more compact and easier to carry. Can take Laser Aiming Modules, Flashlights, Scopes and Sights, Extended Magazines, Flash Hiders, Suppressors, Compensators.

Assault Rifles Assault Rifles are full-size, typically 5.56mm or 7.62mm firearms, usually able to switch between semi, burst and fully automatic fire, and cover a wide range of applications, thanks to greater range and stopping power than a Sub-Machine Gun, along with typically being very rugged and reliable. Can take Laser Aiming Modules, Flashlights, Scopes and Sights, Extended Magazines, Under-Barrel Grenade Launchers and Shotguns, Bayonets, Crane Stocks, Calibre Swaps, Compensators, Suppressors, Flash Hiders.

Sniper Rifles Long-Range, High Powered Rifles, typically 7.62mm or higher, and typically Semi-Automatic or Bolt Action. Sniper Rifles can be scoped or unscoped, and are unmatched at long range. Can take Scopes, Upgraded Night-Vision Scopes, Extended Magazines, Bipods, Laser Aiming Modules, Calibre Swaps, Suppressors, Compensators.

Shotguns Popular Home Defence weapons, the Shotgun is actually surprisingly long-ranged, but is the most devastating up-close, capable of blowing limbs off and cutting undead clean in half. Typically Pump-Action or Semi-Automatic in 12 or 20 Gauge. Can take Extended Magazine Tubes (Drum Magazine for Saiga), Flashlights, Gauge Swaps, Compensators.

Unique Weapons: These weapons are very rare to find among the infected wasteland, along with the ammo to go for them, but the firepower will sometimes more than make up for it, the downside to them is your character MUST have the required perk(s) to use the corresponding weapon. The Unique Weapons available in Z-Day are:
Minigun: A portable version of the M61 Vulcan, sporting a high rate of fire along with a huge magazine size, firing the 7.62×51 mm NATO round, this gun can mow down a horde of zombies in seconds... Pretty heavy though. (Required perk: Juggernaut)
Flamethrower: The M2A1-7 Flamethrower, though it has a very short range, it is capable of burning zombies to nothing but bones in seconds, in some situations it can even be better than the Minigun when it comes to crowd control...but what person in their right mind would so much has THINK about using this thing without any experience or proper training? (Required perk: Pyromaniac)
Barret 50. Cal: The M82A1 50. caliber rifle: Deadly, Precise, and enough recoil to give you a concussion, unless you've been trained with that kind of thing. (Required Perk: Military)
?????: Rumors have been spread among the survivors of Z-Day about a top secret weapon the US Military used to be working on. No one knows exactly what it is, or who was authorized to even so much has get close to it, even if it does exist, finding it is gonna be like trying to kill every zombie in the world...using a toothpick. (Required Perks: ???)

Perks: You may choose a maximum of 4 perks that don't conflict with one another
Airsofter: You've used airsoft guns during your lifetime, so they give you a good feel on how real guns work. + Gun Handling (Cannot Be used with: Military)
Military: You had a job in the army, your intense training has taught you about a lot of things so you know how to use a gun and use it right. Plus your vest gives you a little extra protection. + Gun Handling, Protection (Takes up 2 perk slots) (Cannot Be used with: Airsofter, Doctor, Engineer, Juggernaut, Falcon Punch.)
Engineer: You had a job has an engineer, you can build and repair, just don't expect to make a building thats 100% zombie proof. +Building, Repairing (Takes up 2 perk slots) (Cannot be taken with: Doctor, Military, Falcon Punch.)
Doctor: You had a job has a doctor, if you give people medicine it will be more effective since you know the best way to use it. + Medical Administration (Cannot be taken with: Military, Engineer, Falcon Punch.)
Falcon Punch: You had a job has a boxer, therefore you can use your fists has a better weapon than others. + Unarmed Combat (Cannot be taken with: Military, Doctor, Engineer.)
Juggernaut: You're bigger than most everybody else, no not in the fat way, I mean the muscle way. + Endurace (Cannot be used with: Freerunner)
Ambidextrous: You can use both hands with equal skill, making it easier for you to Dual-Wield. + Dual Wielding Aim
Mr. Nice Guy: You've always been a people person, you can make friends with almost everybody. + People warm up to you easier (Cannot be taken with: Dream Crusher)
Dream Crusher: You've experienced something in your lifetime that scared the crap out of you, and cause of it you don't like talking to people, but on the bright side, your not easily scared. + People don't warm up to you has easy, Not scared has easily. (Takes 2 Perk slots) (Cannot be taken with: Mr. Nice Guy)
Woof: You get a dog...pretty self explanatory. + Doggeh! (Cannot be taken with: Meow)
Meow: You get a cat...also self explanatory. + Kitteh! (Cannot be taken with: Woof)
Athlete: You can run longer and faster than everybody. Just don't expect to be going "Sonic the Hedgehog" fast. + Speed
Bloodhound: You can find things easily among the wreckage left by the Z virus. + Scavenging
Crazed Gunman: You like guns...a lot. So you picked up something else to be your secondary weapon. + Can use an SMG has a secondary (Cannot be taken with: Military.)
Free runner: You practiced parkour, so you can navigate around urban areas better than others. + Parkour
Cybernetic Brain: You're good with computers, you can hack, program, etc etc. + Hacking + Programming (Takes 2 Perk slots)
Pyromaniac: You like fire...alot. You played with matches has a kid and ended up burning your body...There is a bright side atleast. + Burns covering body + Pain Affects you less
Gun Modification: You can have a 2nd attachment on your Primary gun...pretty self explanatory. + 2nd attachment on Primary
