A lot of people tell you we 'eat' souls, or harvest their energy, or something else stupid. Other people think we store them in the freckles. This is all wrong. We collect them because they're used as currency between us. Or bribes, given the chance. We all collectively agreed to accept them as legal tender in 1882. They aren't really stored in our freckles. They're in our hairs. Look at a red hair under a microscope, for example, you'll notice a golden glow to it. That's a soul! Right there. Our hairs start out blond, then change to red once we steal enough souls to make a color difference. |
