Yesterday while speaking with an acquaintance of mine, a lanky boy who looked about 15 or so decided to slip on his shoelace and slam his already unsightly nose into the pavement, causing him to begin bleeding profusely from his nostrils. He laid static for some time until I started to nudge his ribs with my shoe, causing him to start to groan non- stop. After around five minutes of this unbearable noise I dragged him out of my range of hearing and went back to my conversation. After my acquaintance left, I decided to check on the slender boy's condition and found that he had left some time during our discussion. I shrugged it off and went on my way.
Fast forward to today, I was at the same spot holding a discussion with a different person when the skinny lad strode over to our table and stared at me as if he were expecting me to say something. I turned back to the person I was speaking to and was rudely spun around by the thin boy. He darted screaming nonsense about morals and ethics and told me to apologize for relocating his unconscious body to a more prefered location. I laughed at him and started to get up and the brute TACKLED ME. I slammed my head against the table I was using and fell to the ground. He began to lean down towards me so I swiftly planted my shoe in his abdomen, causing him to let out a small squeak and fall into a writhing heap on the ground. I went home after that.

Why the hell would I apologize for something as insignifigant as that? What an entitled fool.

If a tree falls in a forest…

What do you think of when someone mentions a Native American to you? Do you think of the stories, of the way the dressed and lived? Native Americans have passed down their stories verbally from one generation to another for ages. These stories were meant to show life lessons and how things became what they are today. In the two short stores told by Joseph Bruchac called The sky Tree and Coyote Finishes His Work display these themes and similarities and differences. These short stories show the same purpose, different conclusions and their own figurative language.

To begin with, these two stories show the same purpose for being written. For example, they both include talking animals which played a role in the beginning when the earth was being created. “Turtle called together all the water animals and told them what she has seen” and “coyote said, “I am Coyote.” are some examples of similar things. They also share the same way of expressing how life became. For example, “The Sky Tree” states that the continents were formed and “coyote finishes his work” is about him killing all the evil things on the earth and shaping it. These stories also share a wise elder who gives the others directions.

Furthermore, these stories portray two different conclusions. For example, “The Sky Tree” has a positive ending in which earth is saved. Ontheotherhand, the earth is saved from monsters but coyote is taken away. The sky tree involves a situation and coyote finishes his work is about him completing his task. Overall, these two stories start and end in their own way.

Lastly, these stories use their own figurative language. For example, both stories display figurative language. In this case, animals in each story has the ability to talk and given human-like qualities. The sky Tree has the talking turtle communicating with the water animals, while Coyote has the ability to talk to the chief. These stories are both set up in third-person. The word diction is also different since its written by two different tribes even though told by the same person.

These stories have their similarities and differences and written for its own purpose. They show these things by the way they were written and the time they were. They showed the theme of how things came to be. They portrayed same purposes, different conclusion and figurative language.

so he fell unconscious because he tripped on his shoelace then you moved his body away from you then you talked to some people and he asked for you to apologize then he tackled you then you kicked him

this seems strangely fictional

I find it amusing that half of you are complaining about the supposed lengthiness of this VERY brief story. Maybe you should read a novella every once in a while, and not the sub-dialog for your video-games; You would know how to read more than one sentence at a time, haha.
