Superpowers: China, Brazil, Turkey, and Texas
Texas left the US in 2012, which pretty much caused financial collapse in the US and therefore, the USA is no longer a superpower. Brazil is the first nation in South America to be rich AND a superpower. China is a superpower due to the strongest work force in the world.
The European Union collasped in 2014, Germany celebrates the day when the EU collapsed as "Liberty Day"
Iran became stable along with Pakistan in 2015, they are attempting to become a first world nation while keeping their old values on religion.
As for the UN: The US got kicked out of the security council and was replaced by Turkey.
In 2017, Turkey became a superpower and joins the superpower coalition with China, Brazil, and Texas.
Nothing major happens in 2018, 2019, and 2020. |

@people who say that the US won't let Texas just leave
Texas will try to peacefully leave, if it doesn't work, we have to be brutal. |

| @sean Heard of the story of the ENTIRE mexican empire versus 3,000 texans? Who won? The 3,000 texans. The Texan military may be as strong as the USSR or the British Army, but the Texan army would have about 1 million troopers and still come out with victory. |

| @jbg All the Mexican leaders were stupid, Santa Ana spent all of the empire's funds on military, and they STILL lost to 3,000 Texans. |

In 1834, General Antonio López de Santa Anna became the centralist dictator of Mexico, abandoning the federal system. He decided to quash the semi-independence of Texas, having succeeded in doing so in Coahuila (in 1824, Mexico had merged Texas and Coahuila into the massive state of Coahuila y Tejas). Finally, Stephen F. Austin called Texans to arms; they declared independence from Mexico in 1836, and after Santa Anna defeated the Texans at the Alamo, he was defeated by the Texan Army commanded by General Sam Houston and captured at the Battle of San Jacinto and signed a treaty recognizing Texas' independence.[11] Texas consolidated its status as an independent republic and received official recognition from Britain, France, and the U.S., which all advised Mexico not to try to reconquer the new nation. Most Texans wanted to join the U.S. but annexation of Texas was contentious in the U.S. Congress, where Whigs were largely opposed. In 1845 Texas agreed to the offer of annexation by the U.S. Congress. Texas became the 28th state on December 29, 1845.[11] [edit]

@true American annexation was necessary because of their debt back then. Now, Texas being part of the US is not necesary. Texas CAN be a superpower if it leaves the US, it actually has the 8th strongest economy in the world (Stronger than the US feds), so I support Texas leaving the US in 2012

| Texas won because they kidnapped Santa Anna and forced him to sign a treatie granting Texas independence. They kidnapped someone, they would have lost. They then let Santa Anna go, but the US would threaten Mexico if they invaded. It is because or the US that Texas remained a country for more than 10 seconds. |
