I mean, do IQs just drop sharply every year?
Prometheus comes out. And you know what happens? Everyone says it sucks and that it's nothing like the great and glorious Alien VS Predator, and that Prometheus ripped it off. What the Hell?
Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes is about to come out. Everyone says it will suck and that it's nothing like the great and glorious Tim Burton remake. What the Hell?
Terminator Salvation comes out. And you know what happens? Everyone says it sucks and that it's nothing like the great and glorious Terminator 3. What the Hell?
The trailer for 'Texas Chainsaw' 3D comes out. And you know what happens? Everyone says it sucks and that the movie will be nothing like the almighty Michael Bay remake series. What the Hell? Just two years ago you were all complaining about how Leatherface wasn't scary, how it was just jump scary, how the acting sucked, the color filters were distracting, and so forth. Now you're applauding it?
I mean REALLY people?

| While i understand some of this...it just looks like you're ranting that people don't like the movies you liked. |

In a way, I guess I am, but not really.
Because when a movie comes out, say, Tim Burton's Planet Of The Apes
Everyone says it's terrible. Everyone. Not one good word.
Then a few years later, let's say Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes comes out.
And suddenly, everyone thinks Tim Burton's film is a masterpiece.

| I said i understood some of it, but then again opinions change. Like people originally liked Superman Returns, then after seeing it out of theatres, not so much. I even used to like Batman Returns, now i probably hate it more than any other film, ever. |

It still doesn't make sense to me though.
Why would you call something horrible and then call it great just because another one in the series came out? .-.
Oh well, I am not a psychologist.

Well , actually I found that Prometheus was worst then AVP. But I don't think they ripped AVP off.
Rise of The Planet Of The Apes was okay , but the movie had to much of James Franco taking care of Caesar. And at the end the apes just go back to the forest? Like what the hell , they never even explained the ''Planet'' of the Apes in my opinion. It should have been called: Rise of The Raging Apes or something like that. But , the Tim Burton version they introduced the ''Planet'' of the apes. And it Mark Wahlberg did a better acting job.
I agree with you on Terminator: Salvation though.

Rise was only the beginning of a new series.
The apes didn't fight or do anything else other than hide because they were trying to be the bigger man. They just wanted to not be stuck in a cage.
Then while the virus spreads and kills off most of the humans,
I imagine the one ape with the scar, Koba, will fight against Caesar, and lead the apes against the humans. Captivating them, and so forth.
We might even have the nuclear war scenario again. Have humans used nuclear bombs to try and control the virus.
Then if they wanted to, the third film could have astronauts landing on the Planet Of The Apes a few thousand years into the future for the third or fourth film.

When people make a sequel or a remake of a movie, every one watches the original to compare, when that happens people tend to like the original better.
I don't like aliens vs predators but neither do I like Promothues, Alien, Aliens and Aliens 3 were much better.
PS this is just my opinion, I know other people who are my friends who loved and hated most of the movies I said.
