| It's a cycle, you can go insane, start roleplaying, and then go more insane, or you can roleplay, go insane, and roleplay some more. It just goes on an on, it doesn't matter when you get on the ferris wheel |

| Neither. One can not exist without the other. The world would collapse upon itself. |

First you start out a little out of it, A LITTLE CRAZY. This is what is referred to as a casual artist. Then, we delve beyond the surface of RP, and the insanity increases. Unless you are casual artist (better referred to as crazy), you will not be drawn in. The crazies will give Role Play rules and attach themselves beyond repair. |

@ab: i suppose that i'm a casual artist, then. @shadow and pie: pretty similar comments, so i guess you both think its a loop. @mage: too true, but which one causes which? yeah, i guess it happens differently for everyone. |

Yes. I had to go for an evening walk through the mines of Moria (current hideout), but now I can fully explain the cycle.
You start with a bunch of antisocial middle schoolers to early high schoolers (except Bebi, nobody knows what he is), who partake in art, literature, poetry, and so on. These are known as casual artists. The casual artists all get bored shooting partially Lego avatars representing grammar-less nine-year-o.l.d.s and begin clicking other things, like "FORUM". They come across the Role Playing section and start posting things. Casual artists are immediately drawn into the Role Playing trap- er...SUB FORUM, whereas others are told to remove the irrelevant topics they accidentally posted on RP to C&G, and God know what happened there because I'm too lazy to take the effort to scroll down. Moving on, the casual artists post things, learn the rules of RP, and then post better things. They are eventually immersed in the ways of grammar and complaining. Casual artists become intermediates which go to professionals. These are the formal terms, but we're better referred to as Crazies. Also, remember this: Role players aren't actual human beings. We're antisocial school children who are obsessive, insane, and possibly sadistic. We're not real people. :) |

| They were born in the Roleplaying void. See Mark, Roleplay is the entity and sanctuary of insanity, chaos, and art. So you're just a part of Roleplay. We've yet to classify Bebi, though. |

| Yes. I am in seventh grade, and started in late elementary school, but most start in early high school or late middle school. |

| i started last week, showing a similar pattern to what you've said. i have also taken part in the C&G's since 6th grade, and am now in 7th, when i have moved on to RolePlay. i still participate in C&G, but not as much. in your pattern/cycle, you forgot this part that lots have done, but not all: people got bored of shooting 9 year olds, so they joined a clan or guild (the only game type with grammer). later on, they got bored of the shooting people altogeter, and moved onto roleplay. |

In my COMPLETELY INFORMED opinion, (And as someone who read the OP but skipped everyone's posts,) I believe- Hold on, My pet chicken is releasing a guttural death screech again, Need to go whack it with a baseball bat again.
*Doo Doo Doo Doo... Doo Doo Doo Doo... Doooooo Do D-Do Do Dooo Do* *Ain't elevator music fun?*
Okay, Done. Now, As I was saying, I think we're all COMPLETELY SANE and should be rewarded with hundreds of pet chicken as compensation for our outstanding sanity. Anyone wish to comment?
