Hi ROBLOXIANS, I have a question for my computer, (I ordered it and it should be here by Friday.) I bought a medium gaming rig, it has 1TB of hard drive space :D, AMD Phenom Quad Core and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 ti, is this PC any good for running ROBLOX with terrain and other upcoming features that require a good pc and also is it good enough for games like GTA IV, COD MW3 etc...

Please give me your feedback!

So far I have one of the worst graphic card on my computer, but roblox "works". Ok sure it has no shadows, no particules effect and many lags, but it "works". I'm planning to buy a 2K$ cumputer soon.
If you want a good graphic card, try to get a 650 ti
But sure the one that you ordered will be good enought for GTA IV, COD MW3 and many others.

So far I bought GTA IV on Steam and.... well I just cannot run it XD

Quote about the comparison between the AMD Processor or Intel I3

"Better to send a little money for the amd processor as it will take longer for you to consider it slow. The only differences between these computers are seen in the graphics, processing power, and memory. The amd computer wins hands down on all these categories. The most obvious difference you will see is that the i3 only have 2 cores rather than 4 cores with the phenom. You can multitask much better so go AMD."

I have an I3 processor and I can run MW3 Smoothly.

The computer is fine. I have the 550Ti FPB, and I can tell you it's exactly like the GTX285, but with GDDR5 instead of GDDR3 and uses less than half the power making it highly overclockable. I currently have a stable profile that can run the 550Ti faster than the 580. As for the processor, AMD tends to use easier benchmarks than Intel does, making their processors slower than an equally advertised Intel. And assuming your hard disk has at least 5,400 RPMs you should be fine on that as well. That's to say nothing of your RAM, however. Which is much more important than you hard disks.

I'd get an Intel graphics card instead of NVIDIA

Intel doesn't make dedicated graphics cards, but instead integrates GPU functionality into their higher-end CPUs. Needless to say, the lack of dedicated GPUs, dedicated video memory, and lack of other miscellaneous dedicated hardware such as cooling all leads to Intel graphics functionality being an absolutely appalling choice for any graphics-intensive programs. I have yet to even find an Intel HD graphics display that uses DVI or HDMI. They're all still stuck on VGA to my knowledge, though there is a slim chance that the newest third generation i7 extreme is DVI-capable, which is still horrible considering my old 8800GTX had two DVI ports.

@fletcher

WHAT?!?!?! Intel is great for mother board cards and sound cards... but nothing can beat NVIDIA! Revise before saying.

The 650 Ti isn't much of a change from a 550 Ti. Look at the benchmarks.

Your kidding right the GTX 285 is slower than a 550 actually. The 550 has DX11 so it's much better for newer games.

Great computer especially running with a quad core, should run great on other games and ROBLOX especially. There is a guy on YouTube named "ROBLOXowns" he made a video called "The beauty of Roblox" with the same graphics card. You should check it out.
