Well, a couple years ago, I bought the Dell XPS 15 Laptop, which I'm currently using. One thing I've noticed is that when I have my task manager open, I'm CONSTANTLY using 3 out of 4GB of my RAM. Sometimes it will go up to 3.5 or close to 4 when I'm running a game on steam, or just having the steam and/or x-fire processes running (along with the other necessary ones). I'm thinking about upgrading to 8GB of ram, buying from Kingston. Is this a good idea?

I think the first thing to figure out is what exactly is hogging your RAM. 4GB should be enough for what you're doing, and normal usage (that is, with nothing running except background processes) is ~2GB.
If you still want more RAM after that, then you can buy more. |

This. Four GBs of ram is_plenty_unless you're doing stuff with videos/images. Your computer is probably suffering from a lack of maintenance from you. |

Lol it was a joke. When you go there you don't really download anything. Just a GIF like thing that tricks you. |
