| I would like to learn Japanese because I am interested in Japan's culture and would like to go there some day. Also, I don't want to use Google Translate because it's not very accurate. |

It's a hard language to learn man, takes like seven years to learn the symbols...

That's mainly because it has like, 10,000-50,000 character in it's alphabet.
(Definately a Rosetta stone worthy language) |

| Japanese has three alphabets. The first two are easy, not many characters, but the last one, kanji, is the harder, with some 50,000 symbols. |

Japanese is a good language to learn, I am learning it at the moment and it's not that hard...
but there are a lot of characters. It wont take you seven years to learn the ones you need though :)
I have nothing else to say.. o.e
oh wait, these are the basic sounds in japanese
a (ah) あ i (ee) い u (oou) う e (eh) え o (oh) お
after that you have
ka (kah) ki (key) ku (koo) ke (keh) ko (koh)
and so on haha.. |
