title, or was it that the studio meddled too much? I liked Spider-Man 2 and all, but some things are a bit strange. Like Mary Jane is never like her comic version, she was always pretty one dimensional in these. Spider-Man 3 i think was a case of too much studio involvement. I also dislike the first because of the poor effects and Goblin's suit. Overall aside from two i don't find either to be very good Spider-Man films.

I enjoyed the reboot much more than the first one, in my opinion, Andrew Garfield was a much better choice for Spider-Man than Toby Miguier.

Maguire was a pretty bad choice, it should've been Topher Grace

Sam Raimi was the right director. It's the guys who wrote the movies that weren't good. Raimi did the best with what he had, and I think he did an excellent job.
And even though I didn't like the Spider-Man movies, (have yet to see the reboot) I do have to say I loved the scene in Spider-Man 2 in the hospital room, and the surgeons are preparing to remove the tentacles, and they go crazy. That was totally Evil Dead style in that. Even the glass going into the woman's eye.
Totally Evil Dead.
