American Revolutionary War of Independence- Americans won 230 battles. Britain won 234. So please, stop saying you beat the Brits in that war, you didn't. You won independence with political will. And more of your troops died compared to British casualties. AND you were aided by the French and some other nations.
War of 1812- MORE AMERICAN CASUALTIES. The USS Constitution played a part, but wasn't THAT amazing. The HMS Victory will always beat the USS Constitution.
WWI- America came in. Late. And claimed victory.
WWII- Slightly late. Claimed victory. And DARES to call it a Pax Americana (Where a country proves its military strength through a long war and becomes unrivalled and unchallenged)!?
Suez Crisis- WHY!? At least Eisenhower regretted his decision. And Franco-American relations never improved.
I hear Americans say they have a powerful military compared to GB. In numbers, yes. Strategy and discipline? No.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Americans. But too many of them here don't know facts about their own country. |

If they had lost the war, then they wouldn't have independence.

What is the "USS"?
>WWI- America came in. Late. And claimed victory.
So?
>WWII- Slightly late. Claimed victory. And DARES to call it a Pax Americana (Where a country proves its military strength through a long war and becomes unrivalled and unchallenged)!?
I don't see a point to this one.
>I hear Americans say they have a powerful military compared to GB. In numbers, yes. Strategy and discipline? No.
We use the same tactics that they do.
>But too many of them here don't know facts about their own country.
It's the, USA, not USS, btw. |

America lost against Vietnam, and some of the soldiers abused the children there. War is nothing to be proud of. :) |

@Gallade Agreed, if you use them for no apparent reason. But, if you were being attacked by every country in the world/been nuked before, you must use them. |

| In my personal opinion, I think America lost. For other reasons. |

>WWII You do realize we played a pivotal role in that, right?
If we never entered the Western war, Europe would most likely have been overtaken by Germany. If we never entered the Eastern war, the Japanese quit possibly would have taken over the entire Pacific and then had access to attack us whenever it wished.
Everything else, I at least semi-agree with.

Let's go over the American revolution-
America's objective: Gain independence
England's objective: Don't let America gain independence
In the end: America has independence.
Tell me who won. |

"So please, stop saying you beat the Brits in that war, you didn't."
They DID beat us.
Just because we won more battles doesn't mean we won the war. |
