| K so I already know, and for those of you that dont, that you can change the fog settings in lighting to like 170 for FogEnd and 0 for FogStart, and you can create a pretty convincing form of dynamic lighting. Not real Minecraft style, but better than what roblox has now. But what I was wondering is if the Fog is LocalScriptable, so that way you would see different lighting per character. |

| Of course you cant, that would mean there is a distinction between the users computer and the server, and roblox wants to make it look like theyre the same machine to make it simpler to build a simple building (although anything more complex will be rageeee) |

Dynamic lighting could easily come from Local Lighting.

We could make pseudo-dynamic lighting with raycasting, but a bit more simplified.
You get the position and direction of the camera, make some raycasts and see how bright that area should be. Meld all of those together and adjust the transparency on a black GUI over the whole screen. Is there a way to stop you not being able to move your camera on GUIs?
Then you could add a dynamic depth. How far would the lighting script raycast to determine how bright a scene was? |

@Pre; But that would mean an overly simplified version of a pseudo-raycast camera.
