Sword Fighting Tournament Future Plans

Swords: Everyone will get a sword, and a dagger.
Sword Upgrades: Will give your sword an upgrade.
Sword Blade Material: What material your blade is.
Iron: Does an extra 10% damage. Gold: Does an extra 20% damage. Wan Wood: Does an extra 30% damage. Blue Steel: Does an extra 40% damage. Diamond: Does an extra 50% damage.
Armor: Give you extra protection.
Leather: Gives you 5% more health. Iron: Gives you 10% more health. Gold: Gives you 15% more health. Wan Wood: Gives you 20% more health. Blue steel: Gives you 25% more health. Diamond: Gives you 30% more health.
Sword Sharpness: How sharp you blade is.
Sharpness 1: Does 1.1 times the normal damage. Sharpness 2: Does 1.2 times the normal damage. Sharpness 3: Does 1.3 times the normal damage. Sharpness 4: Does 1.4 times the normal damage. Sharpness 5: Does 1.5 times the normal damage.
Maps: What maps will be available.
Default: A grassy field. (More to come)
Power ups: Give you extra powers.
Extra health: Gives you 20 extra health. Higher walk speed: Gives you a walk speed of 18. Health pack: Gives you back 25 health.
Stats:
Non-Saving
Wins Points
Saving: Stats that save when you leave.
Win-Loss Ratio Kill-Death Ratio Points Overall Points Spent Level Exp
Rounds:
Tournament Juggernaut 3 V 1 Avenger Sword Progression Onslaught Elimination 2 V 2 V 2 Survival 2 V 2 Team Death match Free For All Kill the VIP

Should there be limits on the length, and should I add filters? Also, should it save when you leave?

| Sword and dagger? And I suppose one will have a valid reason for using the dagger? I'd hate to see one of my RPG favorites shunned as a gimmick...Even if it's outside of the genre I love it for. |

may I add an idea?
I know this is Swords... By why not have a one shot ally?
You find/buy something then use it to target a player, the player dies from getting hit with an arrow..
but you need a direct line of sight or the AI (Whos shootsing the arrow) will miss... |

Add a 20% chance of hitting the head and 30% leg/torso/arm? and 50% chance of miss?

silver lined armor-like on final fantasy, legs and arms can fall off due to the blades, throwing knife instead of the arrow mentioned above( a throwing knife would be more revelant than an arrow)-can only be used once. ninja star- can only be used once( few games have these-it will be of awesome use!) boomerangs-low damage but still highly useful. camoflagued armor. jungle-gym map, arena-map, swamp-map |

Well, you can't get more unique with this idea... Sword fighting tournaments only consist of swords... maps... and an actual round system.
The things that would make it unique is customization.
MAKE your own SWORDS instead of buying pre-made options.
CUSTOMIZE your own ARMOR and give it benefits such as more health or more speed.
ENCHANT your EQUIPMENT so as to give it more abilities (Make sure not OP).
PERSONALIZE your CHARACTER. Custom tags, custom logos, etc.
SKILL POINTS. This will be different to points in that if you kill a player, your XP level will increase between the ratio of how high the enemy player and you are. ie. If you kill a lvl 100 and you're still a lvl 1, that means you're skilled so you instantly become lvl 60~80. However, if you're lvl 100 and you kill a lvl 1, you don't get any XP. If you're lvl 80 and you kill a lvl 60, you only get a few XP.
This would in turn balance up the player levels but also prevent Overpoweredness by making it really hard to level up once you get real high.

I am already scripting the custom swords. The only premade sword, will be the starter sword.
I plan on letting you customize your own armor.
I plan on letting you personalize equipment.
There are a few problems with equipment...
For the custom tags, How would I moderate it, so that everything is appropriate. For the logos, will it be like making a logo in CoD Black Ops? Would they save?
I am not so sure about the skill points, may just use a classic exp and level system, if any at all. |

I may just make a system, where there are a bunch of pre made words, (500 or so), which you can use to make a custom tag, of up to 20 characters.
Or
I may use a 4 digit clan tag type of thing, like in Cod MW3. |

| you need a kick/(player) option that when four or five people say to kick you out then you will be kicked out- will work for noobs, hackers and exploiters. |
