[Make decisions and I determine the outcomes. You can take any path you like in this medieval world. Before you fill out a CS.]

[The game is more complex than this, but you will learn more about the world as you advance.]

You live in the capital of the Kingdom of Valcay. You are only a young child, but you are allowed to leave your house, if you have one, and see the world of the city, which to you, is huge. In your adult life however, you are going to see much, much more than this.

What will you do in your early years? Things here are decided by happenstance. Your current story will be decided by fate, but that does not mean it cannot be alterable. Your decisions will determine the outcomes of your crusades to achieve your goals.

Your destiny awaits. Perhaps you will receive power, fame, and glory, and have your name forged in the history books, but at the moment, that is a dream.

-----------------------------RULES & NOTES-----------------------------

1. Do choose the outcomes of major decisions [When I am not around, you can socialize with other players IC, though], or control NPCs. I manage those things.

2. You can die, but you likely won't at this stage.

3. When this thread becomes too long or dies, I will work on the next thread.

4. Things here are quite realistic. You do not choose whether you are lowborne or highborne, who your parents are, etc. Dice rolls do. However, you have free control over your own character, just not his/her bio.

5. If you are a convincing typer, then you automatically have high charisma/intelligence, you could say. That's why I didn't add them as a skill below.

MUSCLED: 1+ Health.


AGILE: You are a fast runner. You can run for extended periods of times without losing energy. You also are good at basic acrobatics.


HERBALIST: You will receive pointers from me about plants at times, and you are adept at healing basic wounds.


INNER MAGIC: You are less likely to be burned by magical elements in first contact.


SURVIVALIST: You have spent some time in the wilderness, and will receive some pointers about survival tips when in the woods. [May be used in later stages]


TRACKER: You can look at animal and human tracks easily, and notice things in nature to help you find things.


BERSERKER: When injured or enraged to a point, you recieve a combat bonus.


ENDURANT: You can survive longer without food or water.


ASSOCIATE: You have an extra friend to assist you.


RIDER: You have worked with horses at some point in your life, and you are already quite a good at riding them.


MILITIA FIGHTER: You are adept at basic melee skills due to volunteering for training at the town garrison.


MILITIA SCOUT: You are adept at basic ranged weapon skills due to volunteering for training at the town garrison.

HUMAN: The Valcayan humans, as well as it's neighbours, are in the classification of "Centre Humans". However, almost all humans, no matter what subrace, are almost the same physically, except with different cultures. They are a good-all-round race.


CIVIL-ELF: Civil Elves are from the land of Reevia, governed by their Archduke and his family. They are skilled in the art of war and craft as well as humans, and are basically the same, with the exception of their ears.


FOREST-ELF: Forest elves are shorter than Civil Elves and humans. They are adept at tracking and naturalism, but are clumsy fighters.


HALF-ELF: Half elves are usually part Civil Elf and Centre Human, thus, they are like their parents, good all round, like both races.


DWARF: Dwarves are adept at surviving in mountainous regions and tundra, and are quite short. Dwarves are from the Marone mountains.


ORC: Faldnish orcs, the thinner and more civil kind then the barbaric Hakstrang orcs, are allowed in the city, but still discriminated against. They hold enhanced skill in the art of melee.

Gender: Male

Race: Orc

Physical Description: Muscled, on the taller end compared to the other children, and is actually one of the tallest he knows for children his age. Has short shaggy black hair, and his teeth are crooked, but pretty straight compared to most, and are tinted yellow. He looks pretty athletic, and looks decently fast [Since when your at that stage in life, if your strong, your normally pretty fast, because your athletic, but this will obviously change over time.] He is somewhat handsome. He has tiny stumps for tusks, and dark green skin. His eyes are a dark violet color.

Personality: Stubborn and loves to win. He is normally fun to be around, but is also naturally aggressive and bold. He is calm and a bit of a joker, but he is still just a kid. He is quick to flip out if discriminated for his race. Insults and rude comments just slide by him, but being discriminated because of his race sets him off. He is pretty confident and courageous, and is not much of a loner by nature. He is pretty rebellious and has a bit of a sharp tongue.

Traits: Muscled, Berserker, and Militia Fighter

Equipment Bonus: Stiletto

Goals: To become a warrior legend, and to show that he is not just a 'dirty good for nothing orc'.

Race: Human.

Physical Description: Jack is thin and skinny. He has white skin, along with black hair which is messy. He is about the average size of a normal kid- nothing more, nothing less. He usually has eyebags under his black eyes, and tends to slouch often.

Personality: He is fairly magnanimous in his choices, trying his best to be a good friend and all. When angered, however, he keeps his mouth and fists shut, and chooses to attack indirectly. However if such is too much, he goes in a fit of rage and flips out. He is not the best leader, although he tries his best. He is discouraged easily, although in some cases his faith in things is remarkably large. He is fine with anything, and if he could not change others to get what he wants, then he'd rather change himself just for the sake of his honor.

Traits: Berserker, Associate, Rider.

Equipment Bonus: Map.

Goals: To be known as a legend. How, and what kind, still remains unclear to him.

Physical Description: He would be considered shorter then most humans. (Not knowing what you will say for the average.) He has black hair and black iris' to fit into his appearance he is strong however and it can show. Though he wouldn't be classified as muscled. His teeth are straight and is also considered handsome. Of course when he wants to be shown as handsome of course. (Though I will consider him to be less stronger then others for a certain age of course.)

Personality: Quiet/silent (I perfer silent.), inquisitive. You usually don't want to stare him down or else he can easilly just stare back at you. He has a the look about him that says "Don't get in my way." He considers himself as others though. He can be naive in certain situations.

Traits: [3] Agile, Endurant, Tracker.

Name: Daevinas (Commonly shorted to Daev) Arcage

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Physical Description: Daevinas' physical description of his lower-classed upbringing is his untidy and poorly cut hair. He had taken upon himself to cut his hair to save money. His failure to cut his hair properly resulted into him giving up and grew long dark blue hair, which is shoulder length. His eyes are known to shine with the wisdom of someone twice his age, but noone ever knows if he does, but they believe that this came from his hardships at the early age. He has a agile body, mainly because of his days without food has given him a skinny body.

Personality: Daevinas grew up with branching personalities. His parent's kind and apologetic behavior to him has shaped him into a loyal friend, while the other people on his street like to tease him because of his poverty.

Physical Description: Achmsay is a bit taller and skinnier than most humans, what's even weirder is his pale skin. He also has short curly hair and bright blue eyes. Also he appears to be a bit cleaner than the average man.

Personality: Cunning, wise, and adventerous, most people would describe Achmsay's personailty to be thief-like. He's easy to anger when things don't go his way, however.
