I will say it again. Let's review the facts (Big 10 fanboys ignore them if you want):
COLD HARD FACT #1: 2002. The last time a Big 10 team was crowned the NCAAF Champion. 10 years ago. Ohio State was the champion.
COLD HARD FACT #2: 2008. The last time a Big 10 team was in the BCS Championship. Ohio State was the representative
COLD HARD FACT #3: 2010. The last time a Big 10 team was ranked #1. Ohio State was the team.
COLD HARD FACT #4: 1999. The last time a Big 10 player won the Heisman. Ron Dayne from Wisconsin (Eric Crouch won the Heisman in 2000 but Nebraska wasn't a Big 10 team at the time).
COLD HARD FACT #5: 6-9. The Big 10's record from AQ BCS teams (Source: ESPN)
COLD HARD FACT #6: The highest ranked Big 10 team is #14 Ohio State, and they are banned from bowl games.
I am almost about to go back on my original statement of saying they are obsolete. If it wasn't for Ohio State this conference would currently be a craphole.
How many preseasons do I have to hear "The Big 10 is going to do it this year!"
How many preseasons do I have to see an overranked Big 10 team (Michigan)?
How many seasons do I have to watch people still say the Big 10 is relevant?
How many times do I have to watch my point made (the morning I made that "The Big 10 is obsolete" post was followed up by the Big 10 going 6-6 with Wisconsin and Nebraska being upset)?
How many times do I have to listen to the Big 10 fan boys use the phrase "We won a championship back in the early 1990s!"
How many times do I have to watch as a Big 10 favorite is upset?
Ohio State, I applaud you for being the only team to stay consistently good.
The Big 10 should thank the football gods all AQ Conference winners get an automatic BCS bowl bid or else they may not even make a BCS bowl this year. |

@Tato Last year the Big 10 had a .400 winning percentage in bowl games.
Last year the Big 10 went 1-1 in BCS Bowl games, they shoulda went 0-2 but the Refs in the Sugar Call blew an obvious TD catch by Coale that would have given VT the win.
The Big 10 fan boys want to talk about championships. Their last one came 10 years ago.
The Big 10 fan boys want to talk about the great players. Their last Heisman winner was in 1999. Nearly 14 years ago.
And weren't you the one who didn't care about how good Big 10 teams do in bowl games? |

@Orange The Big 12 has 10 teams. The Big 10 has 12 teams. Just a fun fact.
Oklahoma St. was relevant last year and so was Baylor, but those don't count |

"big ten teams played harder teams" Western Michigan Virgina Tech Oklahoma Texas A&M UCLA Houston South Carolina Florida Georgia Oregon
How many of those were legitimate teams? I see Oklahoma, A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, and Oregon as the only ones. Florida is hovering below there.
"sure blame the refs who reviewed the call along with the replay assistant and virginia tech missed a chip shot"
No they got the call right first then they overturned it with very little to no evidence to support their decision.
"They still have more" 10 years ago. That is irrelevancy.
"They still have more" 14 years ago. Irrelevancy.
"Dum" I remember it from that thread where I brought up Michigan's bowl games |

"WVU has only been good for one year, calm down" They won a BCS bowl last year.
Oklahoma has consistently been in the top 10
My standards of relevant is being in the Top 15 or above and I already said Ohio State is relevant. |

@yoyo Their last championship came in 2000, where did I say anything about that being the only championship? And if you gotta reach past the BCS era for pride you are irrelevant. |
