These ships fly and all cities are in the air, all Bioshock style. They can sail (They're basically galleons and such) and the entire planet is covered in water, which is why the cities fly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Town Names

•Ceasario - A small town on the coastline which transfers goods to the rest of the world. Though the law-enforcers will not admit it, it is involved in many pirate raids and even gives aid to many pirates.

•New Ridgeton - The town closest to New London, New Ridgeton is a medium sized city with a fair number of residents. Is known for having the most strict law-enforcers of all towns, other than New London itself.

•Elington - A large city that is one of the most important for trading. It's known as the "Crossroads of the World." Traders and merchants will come from all over to sell their goods and buy more to take back to their villages or cities.

•Kingsbury - A village placed between Upper and Lower Bridgewich, it is comprised completely of refugees who have run from pirates or bandits in other cities/towns/villages.

•Upper Bridgewich - A town for the middle class, this is where over half of the pirates live, while the others live in Lockport. They live here because Bridgewich (And, in turn, Kingsbury) are not directly controlled by King Barry.

•Lower Bridgewich - A place for a lower class, Lower Bridgewich isn't exactly dirty, but don't believe it is clean either. Crime has a firm hold on this part of the city, even though the law-enforcers for Upper Bridgewich attempt to keep it at bay.

•Upper Touea - A tier of the town comprised completely of the low class. No law-enforcers at all are here, because they would be killed almost instantly by the many bandits and thieves.

•Lower Touea - A tier for the lowest class of all. No one here has money of their own (And even if they did, they wouldn't have it long) Many must wear rags and crimes will be committed right in front of someone. Murder is the leading cause of death and if murder isn't what get you, malnutrition will. Many who live here never live past the age of 25.

•Hartmore - The second largest city in the Empire, Hartmore is a place where high and middle class people may live in peace. Law-enforcers are firm in the rules, but are not beyond reasonable. Hartmore is what many in poor towns may call Paradise.

•Lockport - A town on the other coast, Lockport is a more strict town than many. Nevertheless, the other half of the pirate population lives here and many ships, including the 'Raider's Sword', 'Midnight's Silence' and the 'Golden Sun.'

•New London - A town for the high class. People in towns like Touea doubt it even exists.

•Upper New London (For extremely wealthy people) - If you live in Upper New London, you are the richest of the rich. Nobles, the royal family and guards live here. If you aren't one of them and live here, you and your family must be extremely successful. It has the lowest population of all the towns and cities.

The Upper Class

The Upper parts usually have fine, high class stores. They are targeted by pirate raiders. There are little to none real robbers there, as everyone there is wealthy

Upper Class Jobs: Baking (only to sell to Upper Class areas, generally nicer quality- cakes and the like), Jewelmaking, Floristry (most cleaning jobs in the Upper Class areas are done by the Lower Class) there are a lot of Merchants - a lot selling stuff rather than making it.

The Lower Class

In the Lower parts there tends to be a lot of crime (e.g stealing, robbery) Quality of life there is pretty awful, and lots of gangs tend to be based there.(?)

Lower Class Jobs: Baking (Only for Lower Class areas, not very good quality mostly for food rather than the decorative Upper Class stuff), Blacksmith, Transport, Mining, Farming,

Wealth is important= No money no use to the government.

Other info: The poor are shunned for their uselessness to the goverment.

This means there are 'Upper' and 'Lower' areas to most large towns/cities.

This 'Upper and Lower' system is related to the caste system.

Outcasts are people who have gone into the Upper Town, when they should be in the Lower town. Outcasts usually join pirate crews, as it is better then persecution from the government. Persecution is either death (in several ways) or a variety of other painful procedures. See Philosoraptors various ideas- [Killed, beat with a cat of nine tails, burned at the stake, being thrown into the ocean, attached to some.. heavy object I guess.]

Pirates/Crews (Famous ones)

Captain Dmitri- Dmitri is a Russian pirate, and is usually the one who raids. Half his crew are outcasts. He captains The Midnight Silence.

Captain Belle-She is one of the few infamous female pirate captains. She captains The Crimson Angel.

Captain Tomas - Tomas was once a high londoner who decided he did not want to be part of the rich class anymore. Many consider him to be insane for giving up such a life. He lived in Ceasario for 3 years before becoming the captain of the Iron Dragon.

Possible names of ships:

•'Raider's Sword' A large ship, said to be the biggest pirate ship in the skies, based entirely around large raids and fighting (hence the name). The crew are well trained in fighting, something that is necessary should you wish to work on the ship. It's very anti-monarch (and unlike many other ships, makes no attemtp to hide it.), constantly plotting against them and leading many raids. It's the pirates most 'valuble' fighting ship they have, without it they would be more or less doomed (The Belle de Ville would destroy them all). The size of the ship is to incorperate the massive amount of weaponry on board, and the unusually large crew. This weight and size means the Raider's Sword is slow moving, relying on head on battles, rather than ones which require constant dodging. Nevertheless, it is a formidable foe and many a Monarch ship has fallen in battle against it.

Note: The crew of Raider's Sword have a reputation for being somewhat arrogant and rude and tend to drink a lot. However they are focused on their job at all times (except maybe when reallly drunk) and will, if in a good mood be more than happy to listen to others opinions.

•'The Princess' A ship in favour of the monarchy (as it's name would suggest), and almost always a very bad sign if seen. The Princess's job is to reclaim criminals and outcasts who have managed to escape the law or Persecution and bring them back for trial/punishment. This is easier said than done on most occasions, very few captains will relinquish their crew members knowning the fate they're handing them over to. There are some however, which deem it to be too much of a fight to keep these unlucky criminals on board.

Note: Whilst the ship does go around reclaiming the unlucky victims there is a considerable amount of 'behind the scenes' work. A lot of captures will take place on land, where it is a lot easier to seperate crew members from each other.

•'The Midnight Silence' Another raiding ship, less infamous than the Raiders Sword. It tends to do smaller raids, mostly for goods that can be sold on for a profit (illegally). However despite the 'small' raids The Midnight Silence is notorious for being very risky in these raids, which results in crew deaths regularly (almost always more than one per raid). Due to this the ship has the highest number of deaths yearly than most other ships. Even with the high casulties there are always outcasts willing to join (better than Persecution and The Midnight Silence is the easiest pirate ship to find) The majority of the crew are outcasts, usually the majority of them have very little knowledge on what to do.

Note: Another reason The Midnight Silence is so popular is the crew are possibly the friendliest and high-spirited of all ships. This may be because of potetntial death at all times, or simple because the Captain (Dimitri) is good natured.

•'The Crimson Angel' One of the most well known female captained ships in the skies/seas. It is elegant and seemingly a very fragile looking ship. However, this is simply what they want you to believe. The Crimson Angel is fully capable of a fight, manuvering easily out of harms way before going straight back in to attack. Usually it travels around looking for fallen ships to scavenge, sometimes picking up new crew members as they do so. Word has it that they picked up a Monarch man or two in the last ship they found, something that caused considerable unrest between many a captian. None of them have yet voiced this though, Miss Belle is not someone to start an argument with.

Note: Captain Belle is a formidible pirate captain, capable of defeating a

•'Deadwood' A very mysterious ship, keeping mostly to themselves. Although it's clear they do not agree with the Monarchy's ways they do very little to protest, staying away from the anti-monarch raids and fighting as well as avoiding the Monarchy's retaliations. They seem to have their own agenda, although nobody seems to know what it is. One thing that has been said is that they can be particularly viscious should a battle commence, and they value honour and loyalty to their cause above everything else.

•'Belle de Ville' The Kings retaliation to the Raider's Sword. A huge ship built with the intent to counterract the growing strength of the pirate ships (Specifically the Raider's Sword) . Its crew are all professionally trained for battle and handpicked to serve on the ship, something which is seen to be a great honour. The firepower of the ship is immense, outweighing any other ship in the skies. The Belle de Ville has been a cause of many ships demise, it's cannons blowing them out the sky without warning - Unlike The Princess they do not offer a chance for criminals to give themselves up, nor do they take into account the possiblity that there may be innocents on board. It's huge size means it is very slow moving, meaning should a ship notice it there is a good chance to outrun it (however the range of the cannons may strongly decrease that chance).

Note: The Belle de Ville does not trouble itself with smaller ships, only ones the King deems a threat.

The Belle de Ville and the Raider's Sword have only met in battle once so far in their history. It was one of the few times that the Raider's Sword had to retreat, unable to cope with such a huge ship. They had sustained heavy casulties crew wise and the ship was heavily battered. Were it not for the arrival of both The Crimson Angel and The Midnight Silence (along with many other lesser pirating ships) who distracted the Belle de Ville, the Raider's Sword would have been captured and destroyed- a huge loss for the pirates.

•'The Royal Fancy' The King's official ship, something that doesn't look like it could take to the air what with all the gold and precious jewels weighing it down. It is merely for showing off (or so it seems...) and sits tethered in full view of the whole of London, as a reminder to the Lower areas just how much in poverty they are.

•'The Golden Sun' A ship that is well known to both sides of the 'war'. The Golden Sun is the most well known trading ship of the skies/seas. It's goods are cheap, and always in stock. It usually has anything anyone needs, whether it's legal or not. Despite the somewhat illicit sellings they do, The Golden Sun sells to the Monarchy seeing it as another way to gain money. (The majority of their customers are pirates but there are several reccuring buyers from the other side. These trades are kept quiet, not being something particularly encouraged - No doubt the King would be less than pleased.) Infact, The Golden Sun will sell to pretty much anyone as long as they will pay. It usually stays in one area of the seas for a couple of months before moving off to another area (both for new goods oppurtunities and for safety reasons).

Note: There is a strict No Fighting policy on the ship, with the consequences being an immediate rejection of all deals made and a quick exit off the ship.

•'The Iron Dragon' The Iron Dragon is a former government ship taken by Admiral Alexander when he turned pirate. Alexander gave the ship to citizens in Ceasario to not only protect themselves, but fight the government. Given it's name for it's hull, it being made entirely of iron. Compared to other ships it's near invunerable. However, it is also the slowest ship known. In battle, it is unmatched, but if it must flee, there is little chance it will actually be able to escape.

Guilds

•The College of New London- This guild is in New London. Many soldiers or rich people send their children here, as many become soldiers themselves. They say ithe college is secretly connected to the government. They usually train people to be sailors on the flying ships. They are trained to use daggers and cannons.

•The Dark Guild- Most consider them insane. They say that they dabble in magic(Though most know its just a hoax.), and that they use their magic for the king. Many say there is a scandal connecting this guild and the king.

•Pirates Guild-This guild is for your average everyday pirates. New pirates, veteran pirates, pirates who are crazy, thats what this guild has. They are enemies of the Government, especially the royal family.

The Goverment

Strict, merciless and cruel.

It is a monarchy. The royal family consists of-

King Barry

King Barry is of course the ruler. He is strict, and quick to anger. He persecutes anyone who he does not agree with, pirates, and anyone who dares disrespect him. People say that he planted the entire scandel.

Queen Kiera

Queen Kiera is the stuck-up queen of the land. She's rich, and often goes to the opera. She despises the people, mostly the lower class.

Prince Adam

Adam is the Prince and hero of the land. Or at least thats what his father says. He rides through town on an expensive horse. Many want to assassinate him, mostly pirates and outcasts.

Princess Laura

Laura is 'Daddy's little girl'. In reality, she's a spoiled brat. She gets everything she wants, usually at the expense of the citizens, who must give money to the king. She is the youngest of the royal family, and the most targeted by pirates for ransom.

The King has assigned many officials. These are the most important.

General Richard- The military general. Does executions, and fights in wars. He's well fed, and rather fat. He shows no mercy. Many despise him, but dare not say it.

Admiral Ferdinand- Admiral Ferdinand captains the Belle de Ville, and is a trusted official. Rumor has it he works with the king and these scandals. He usually leads the attack on pirates.

Luiteneant Dan- Luitenant Dan is the Admirals right hand man. He assists in both combat and guarding the king.

Captain/Admiral Alexander - King Barry's right hand man. Civilians love him and rightly so, as he goes out of his way to provide food, shelter, and money to citizens who are in desperate need of it. Believes that executions are unpleasent, but sometimes needed. Secretly is a pirate captain, who will give his crew secret information they need (He's captain of the Golden Sun.)

Louis VIII - Principal of the College of New London. Captain Alexander's brother. Oblivious to Alexander's aid to pirates.

Royal Scandal

The Royal Family is known for its array of scandals.

•There has been many suspicious deaths in the King's court. It has been said that the deaths have been brought on by poisen.

•The previous king, Jonathon II was killed the day his son, Barry turned 18. Many believe Barry had someone kill him, as he had just come of age.

•The day she became queen, Kieras Mother(Who disaproved of her becoming Queen.) Went missing, along with her father and sister.

•Rumor has it that, under the Kings command, a large portion of Lower Touea was killed. King Barry made sure this was covered up.

•They say King Barry hired people to set several small pirate villages on fire. This was proven true, but before it could be announced, The King hired several assassins to get rid of any witnesses.

•The mysterious Dark Guild scandal. The most known scandal. Members of the Dark Guild, a well-known criminal guild that specializes in assassination, thievery, and spying, burst into the throne room with intent to murder the king and all his advisors. Unfortunately, they only killed a foreign king visiting to discuss war with King Barry. Things seemed to be tipping to war when the members of the guild broke in.

Holy cow. I forgot about this. There is a slight change- Ceasario is actually an island chain. You don't have to change it, but if you want.

But there have been plenty of threads that were completely new.

Just because people don't show interest to your thread doesn't mean that RP is lacking originality.

Everytime I see someone make a completely new, original thread, it dies within the first 5 pages. Almost every time, sometimes you see a good one, but for the most part they all follow the same things: Based of book/movie/TV, mutants, war, high school (Or something close to high school) They all have varying stories and can be good, but there's an overflow of them.

Genocide really wouldn't fly with the rest of the cities. Too many people would rebellion, essentially destroying the Government's power. King would most likely be overthrown and killed, same with rest of the royal family. Things would not go well.
