[THIS THREAD IS PURELY TO INDUCE DISCUSSIONS INVOLVING ADDITIONS AND SUGGESTIONS]
-- Intro -- As some people may know, i've been fairly "inactive" lately. However those people are partially mistaken. As i'm sure you're all aware, my primary place in VAK is the construction of tech. Instead of being purely "inactive" i've actually been working on a new fort, that will introduce some new concepts for defending/raiding and update the outdated style of Vaktovian forts to suit current standards.
-- Setting/Underlining Features -- The fort is sat upon a planet of frozen, rocky wastelands. A river stretches across the map with several open areas for combat, allowing for the use of boats and the ability to swim. The weather conditions are harsh and extremely cold, thus introducing the problem of snowstorms. These snowstorms will cause extreme cold fairly rapidly, bringing your walkspeed to a crawl and obscuring your vision. However, not to worry as there are various heat-sources across the map to regain your temperature (Currently these are simple fires, thus likely to change). The purpose of having a fort on such a remote planet is due to the vast amount of naturally occuring metals and resources. Players will be able to take advantage of this, allowing them to construct weapons and from the materials they find.
-- Raiding -- The raiders will start off within their own small base at the far end of the map, with their own weapons bench, refinery and garage (and probably other items eventually). To win a raid, raiders must do either of the following:
A) Capture all external control-points (not in the main Vaktovian base) B) Break into the main Vaktovian base, shut down the generator and capture the main control-point
Raiders will have their own specific weapons (Those of the ISA from Killzone) and will have equal abilities to those of the Vaktovians. If a control-point is captured then it will be available as a spawn-point.
-- Defending -- The Vaktovians will start with all control-points except the raider's under their control (Raider's control-point will be un-capturable). They will be able to spawn at any control-point within their control and will have the same abilities as the raiders. Cadets and VAC's will be allowed to spawn within the base and at control-point's respectively. Penders will be able to join the "Pending" team, which will allow them to spawn in one pre-defined location (centre of the map, away from the raiders). Vaktovians must only try to prevent the raiders from using either of the above ways. Vaktovians will be able to re-capture control-points.
-- End Note -- All features listed here are subject to change, depending on user feedback. Please tell me what you think would be good, and what wouldn't. Please give feedback in an appropriate manner and make a sensible contribution. Thank you. |

This thread has received a Stamp of Approval. However, one problem: it probably won't be active due to SMO being the main fort.

| @Lich, we need a boost of activity. The SMO isn't exactly active currently. Vaktus has recently told me of his plans with it, which may or may not increase activity. Either, this fort will be a different option that SHOULDN'T lag (As Kaznan does). |

I'm not sure what's wrong with me today. I keep missing out random words. *either way
Please give feedback guys. If you have any ideas of what could be added/included/changed, please don't hesitate to mention it. |
