It's simple: I will throw out my emotions in favor of cold, calculating logic. You see, human emotions are our weakness They make us do impulsive things like buy stuff we don't need I am an amazing intelligent human being If I get rid of my emotions I will increase my intellect I take away all the psychological stuff that makes me weak and impulsive In favor of cold, calculating logic I will show no emotion I will feel no emotion I am a cold, calculating supercomputer more then ever

| You're not a robot, you're a human being with emotions, and when someone just decides they're just going to suppress those emotions, those suppressed feelings manifest into an unhealthy mind, you'll be doing the opposite, by not letting out your feelings and emotions gradually like healthy people do, you'll let out your emotions through impulsive bursts of rage. |

@Epic That's not the way the human mind works, we have emotions for a reason, to let others know what we're feeling inside, and so that we don't do impulsive things in rage when we suppress our feelings. It may sound corny, but humans need to talk about their feelings sometimes to feel better, otherwise they gradually build up rage and take it out on others. |

@pokemonmaster914 Emotions used to be useful before we had language Now we have language We don't need emotions anymore to get across what we're thinking I'm not some madman who can't control himself unless I talk It's useless to talk to a lot of people these days They're just so stupid compared to me I don't mean to sound arrogant but it's true |

@Epic Once again, that's not how emotions work, you can't just turn them off like a light switch. Instead, they bottle up, and when you have too much emotion, the smallest bit of more stress can set it off and you get unreasonably angry because you have a lot of emotion and the human body was not made to let it be bottled up too long. |

@Epic No matter how intelligent, you still have emotions, and it's better to understand emotions and manage them wisely then to just bottle them up and deny they exist in you. |

"We don't need emotions anymore to get across what we're thinking"
Only 9% of a message is applied via words. About 50 is body language and the other 41 is tone of language, which is all emotion.
You're wrong. |
