So, I made a thread like this yesterday, but I managed to clear up the lack of memory issue if you possibly remember my thread. Now, I've run into a new problem.
So, I've recently bought GTA4 from the Playstation store. I cleared up my memory on my PS3 so I could download it. It says it requires 11 GB to download. I pressed "download" and it says I don't have enough free space on the system storage. I went to "System Settings" and then went to "System Information" or whatever. It said I had 15 GB / 74 GB. So I clearly have enough free space to download GTA4 but it says I don't have enough free space.
Help? |

| Buy it on a disc or better yet ask around for help on the official playstation forums. |

Ask for technical help from the experts.
Also, GTA IV is a good game, it's way better than the Saints Row series even. |

Clear up more space. I have the same problem when I install things to the hard drive. It'll tell me the required memory, and I open that much, and I still don't have any space.
PS3 is starting to fall apart, but it's too late to go out and buy a 360 when the next generation of consoles is not far off. |

@solidhead I'd really hate to delete my precious MGS4. I guess I'll have to keep searching for some files that aren't used. |

@Jimi:
You could always, assuming you have Playstation Plus, transfer something like 80GB of memory to online storage and delete anything else. |

Wow, that is pretty useful. But, I can download GTA4 now, after deleting a ton of stuff. :P
I'm out of PS cash anyways. But, I may consider it just for that online storage. |

| Yeah, it's pretty useful. I have most of my space-consuming disc-based games in online storage. Unfortunately, I'm fairly sure you have to download it again to use it. But if you don't want to use it anytime soon, it's nice to clear space up for new games. |
