I was building and i was trying to get various shades of brown (For wood) and I noticed I couldn't get that right shade of colour (Same with other things tried making) so I was wondering, when the next major update comes, could ROBLOX maybe add a colour wheel so we could get that *Perfect* shade of colour?
So, who else has wondered this, and who else agrees? also, If Sorcus replies to this I will flip! :D (He's my favourite admin and is 110% cooler than you!)

I've always wanted more colours, a colour wheel would be a good addition. Maybe you can use the arrow keys to slowly navigate around the wheel aswell as just using the mouse. It should also have a lighter and darker slider next to it aswell. |

The lighter/darker bar was one of the features I had in mind but i think that idea with the arrows is cool (It's super annoying when you always go past that PERFECT colour), it's be handy to be able to navigate it slowly to be more precise. Sorcus is #1!

Like when you're on Serif drawplus or Paint.net, the kind of colour wheels where its a circle, with all the colours in the colour spectrum around it and white in the centre, and at the side a bar with the colour in the centre, white at the top, and black at the bottom and you can choose how light/dark it is. So...umm...yeah like a colour spin wheel maybe, I'm not 100% sure what you're talking about, but anyway, it's a circle which allows you to choose the very precise colour you want. Sorcus is #1!

So only two people agree? Please support! I really think that this would be really helpful and would add more variety to colours instead of the basic 64 colours. Sorcus is #1!

| If you really can't find a shade of brown that you want, I'd make/search a decal. |

Why not just enable Color3 for brick colors? And, sending Color3's over the net takes 3x as long as sending BrickColors, this would decrease performance. (Although, the difference would be unnoticeable, it still is a decrease.) |

@Ice, a decal wouldn't give you textures (Wood, foil, metal, grass, etc) and you would have to put it on all sides.
@cop, no idea what that colour3 thingy is but my games are usually 'detailed' or big or have a lot of bricks so I try to keep my games non-laggy, so I'd try not to do anything that decreases performance. Sorcus is #1!

Exactly, it doesn't require much effort, could probably be added with the next update, and would add A LOT more variety to the range of colours and wouldn't add anyHopefully! unless colour variety adds lag?) Sorcus is #1!

But then what about in scripting when you have to use numbers and string values to script colours into it. Say if I wanted to script a brick to change red and blue every 3 second. The script woulden't have all these new colour wheel colours. |

You could use the RGB thing. You know;
Red: 255 blue: 255 Green: 255
that would make white, the maximum per colour is 255 so 0 on everything is black and like
Red: 200 Blue: 200 Green: 0
that's purple. etc. So in total this would work out in scripting aswell, it might be a bit harder when scripting but it still works! Sorcus is #1!

They wouldn't need to add more colors. 255^3 is enough to make sure the guests don't eat us all. There already are brown colors, just try to find some good ones. :P

Listen, there may be more colours but that is the point, @cop, oh....right.... xD @Guy who posted the script: I have no idea how to use Lua so..... @person who said there'd be too many colours; there may be "too many" but it'd be even better when your trying to make gradient and at the moment I think ROBLOX doesn't have many colours and/or not a wide enough variety. @Guy who said about brown colours; I know, I'm trying to make a place and I've used every shade of brown and I need more variety. I'm SO SORRY I couldn't remember all you names >.< Sorcus is #1!
