If you are reading this could you please try out my game, just ONCE?
The name of it is "Undead Survival (BETA)"...
If you could just TRY the game, just ONCE, and leave a comment, it would mean the WORLD to me.
Also, if I see you are there, I could TRY to join and give you a "tour" of the place...
Once again, if you EVER read this, please try my game. It is a Build to Survive, BUT it's not an ordinary one... It's all made from scratch, and I spent a LOT of time scripting the zombies. (Before I started, I couldn't script at all)
Could you please leave a comment, too? Thanks.

Post this in the Look What I Made forum. Admins usually look there if they want to try out games.
This forum is for game ideas, not for advertising your place.
Good luck though, if people start to like it he's bound to visit. |

Why do you need him to do all that? It isn't going to boost your place visits. A comment could be "Great game!", but how is it going to help you in any way? If you are looking for feedback - any comment and from 1 person won't do. If you are looking for a place visit booster - this is not it. |

I don't care about TIX, or place visits...
I care about people having fun. If I knew that Shedletsky had fun in my game, it would make me one of the most happy people in the world... |

| If you "care about people having fun", why are you asking Shedletsky to visit your place and not "people"? This is more about being a fanboy rather than caring about people having fun. No offense, just analyzing the text. |

Lol, that's not what I meant...
If I see that Shedletsky likes my game, then I know that my game isn't a piece of crap that nobody will have fun at...
My friends like my game, but some people don't.
I guess I want John's feedback to see if my game is any good. :P
BTW, do you like my game, Fox... You were in there with HAXX for like, over 4 hours straight... |

| I agree with Fox. You don't need an admins approval of your game... If you really want to see if your game is good, put it in the right forum and ask EVERYONE to look at it, not just an admin. |

Lol, I have a forum with like, over 1000 replies. :P BUT I'm not getting much feedback besides friends.
If I got Shedletsky's feedback, however, he wouldn't just say "ZOMG Epic game!" He is a serious guy. |

Yes, I liked the game.
However, it did get repetitive after a bit. If I didn't play it with GUESTHAXX I probably wouldn't have been in the game for so long, meaning that we had conversations while we were playing which helped the time pass quicker.
I didn't go back into your game ever since, so I'm not sure if you updated it or not since then. This means that I can't give you feedback on the current version of the game if you are looking for it. |

@Any game is boring without another person...
Not true, just look at the PC and Console games. Some of them are single-player only and are quite successful. So it's the repetition that kills the game, not the loneliness.
(I'm referring to the version I played with GUESTHAXX) There was no incentive to survive the zombies. There was no progression. If there is no progression - it is repetitive and will quickly get boring. From the second you enter the game you have access to all of the tools that you will use throughout the game, so the matter of how long will you play the game depends on your patience.
If you find a way to build a structure that will allow you to survive any and every wave of zombies, the game becomes even more redundant. I have succeeded in making such a structure while playing with GUESTHAXX. |

Ik, hence the name, BETA...
It was just the game I put up since my freinds wouldn't stop bugging me about it... I guess what I want to is not if the game is good, but are the ZOMBIES good.
So, yeah. I put it up, they played it, they liked it, but I haven't updated it since because I have gotten SOOO many new ideas that I think are BETTER than what I have...
Lol, BTW, what WAS the design that could withstand all the zombies? |

A cube made out of floatpads suspended in the air.
1. Float pads "float" when they aren't touching the ground. This allows you to stay safe against any ground zombies. 2. They also seem to be more durable against zombies than regular bricks. And the steam that comes out when zombies get close also helps keep them away. 3. The only threat is the jetpack bomber wave, but they don't seem to damage float pads when they are pushed back by its steam. |

So you are saying that the game was more of a learning experience than a full game worthy of feedback and updates? Doesn't that disprove the premise with which you starting this thread?
What new games are you working on? |

Well, in a way, that was a learning experience. :P BUT, it IS worthy of updates, I'm just working on different things at the same time. I'm constantly working on something new whether or not I think it will work.
What things am I working on, you ask? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WELL, I tried a kind of military game to try to learn weapons scripting... it FAILED, but... "Top Secret (Now Public)" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I had this idea of a cool, fun military CTF... "Top Secret Production" (It's helping me learn GUIs) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh, and a realistic zombie apocalypse survival game recently... "Map" (There's guns there for a temporary war game that people like) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Also, random models here and there that I have been making... Most of 'em I throw out. If you would like to see some aircraft bodies I made a while ago... "Top Secret Military Tech" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh, and by the way, if you see "Top Secret" before something, Friends Only.
Besides "Top Secret (Now Public)" :P
Oh and, no, that doesn't disprove the purpose of this thread. That game will probably reflect on my scripting skills and my building skills. SO, if Shedletsky went to that game, it would show him my scripting and buildings skills, and I wanted him to leave a comment so I know if I'm any good in the eyes of Shedletsky...
Make a little more sense now? |
