Have you guys had a lot of homework this year? I have had, unfortunately, a colossal amount this school year for some reason. I would estimate that I have, on average, at least three hours of it each night. I try not to complain about it, but some days I simply don't feel like doing it. I have really high marks, though, so I don't want to mess that up.

No. Well, my pre-algebra teacher likes to give us a lot of homework. But only like 15 minutes.

Well, wait until you get into Pre-Calculus. Then your definition of "a lot of homework" will definitely be changed.

@terter
Same. It's always the math teachers that give out homework. My other teachers never give homework, or just barely do it.

I have a TON of homework.
My Pre-Advanced Placement Algebra II homework is quite lengthy My AP US Studies notes are extensive with a precise format we have to use. My Spanish homework is just...confusing And I will have newspaper work to do later this year, I am sure.
Oh yeah, school started 2 weeks ago for me. We have already done at least 2 months of work in some classes.

It is most certainly not bad to "overachieve" unless it completely stresses someone out to the point of causing him or her emotional anguish. Perhaps you don't try to surpass your limits, but others do try to- and they're not in error for doing so.
