Here we talk about The Beatles. A great rock band that survived to the 50's to the 70's.
We may discuss different music if you like, Metal, Techno, Rap, Hard Rock, anything else.
So to start off, why didn't they put The Beatles on iTunes Earlier? |

| Probably copywright issues, and whoever owns the rights too the Beatles is just now letting them use the material. |

| Straf, no one sucks when it comes to music.. Everyone has different taste in music. Some girls may scream over Justin Bieber or a Disney Star, others may scream over Linkin Park or Green Day. |

What I don't like is how it seems to be if you don't have Straf's taste in music, you have a bad taste in music. It's like the whole "You're opinions suck! Mine are better!" thing, just made to look more mature. |

Objectively, my opinions *are* better, but only to the extent of Roblox. ---
An opinion is an OPINION. There is no good opinion or bad opinion. It is all perspective. Apparently, you're running out of comebacks, so why don't you take your weasely butt out and GET OUT. |

| I'm not trying to slide out, especially since I'm right. And name calling? Really? Is that all you can resort to since you can't prove my superior opinions wrong? |

But I've proved that the Beatles are derivative trash before. Look for the thread yourself. It's probably been buried under all of those "bieb sux" and "check this song" threads. |

Without the Beatles, you wouldn't have the bullcrap that you probably listen to now. They aren't derivative trash, they are incredible. Paul taught HIMSELF how to play the Guitar and Piano, and he's a multi BILLIONARE, so I'd like to see you accomplish as much in your lifetime that he did in his. The most talented band in history, you'd have to be a complete cynical geek who blasts their ears out with heavy metal and alternative to hate the beatles. |

| I hate the Beatles and I don't listen to Beatles. They are derivative. They accomplished nothing new. Everything that they ever did was either done in the 50's or by the Beach Boys. Talented? I guess rehashing the same song over and over is "talented" now. I listen to bullcrap? I suppose that Bob Dylan in bullcrap then. Also, no. The Beatles didn't inspire everybody like you claim. In fact, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, and the Velvet Underground did as much -- if not more -- than the Beatles. Also, the Beatles were inspired by Bob Dylan, so if you want to get technical, he inspired everything if we go by your back. I taught myself to play Piano, and guess what? I can play it very good. Money means nothing. That just means he was the best and fooling people into thinking that he was actually something substantial. So who's the cynical geek? The guy who doesn't realize that the Beatles are trash. Goodbye, you lose. |

| Name calling isn't all I'm going to be able to do. You're taste in music your taste in music. It may not be mine, but it is yours. Why do people attack people's opinions?! Everyone on MT especially Mendiboi, wumbodude, gageaz, adn you attack peoples opinions and say your opinions are far more superior than others. Why? Why do you do that? Why don't you guys eat an apple, read a book, take a change, stop being so harsh. Or else I'll have to be harsh with you. We don't want anyone of you Ignorant Blockheads to be flaming on threads anymore! Don't you have something better to do? Can't you just respect peoples opinions. Goodbye, you lose, you suck, try being nice for once. |

"My music taste > Your music taste."
You should be deaf, no longer listen to the music you've always admired. |

1)They made little remakes. 2)IF you like Bob Dylan, the Stones, and Velvet, then why wouldn't you like the Beatles? They are the same thing! They are NOT derivative, so stop repeating that like the little nerd that you are. MONEY MEANS A LOT, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? IT MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND. 3)THe Beach Boys harmonized, and the Beatles did too. You think the Beatles copied? No, the Beatles were forming and playing at small places, making harmonized songs more popular as they got popular. 4)I'm sure you did not teach yourself how to play the piano. You're just trying to be like Paul. And even if you did teach yourself to play piano, you're not rich and famous like Paul, so you have nothing to show for it. 5)YOU'RE the cynic. Bye. YOU lose. |

>Why do people attack people's opinions?! Everyone on MT especially Mendiboi, wumbodude, gageaz, adn you attack peoples opinions and say your opinions are far more superior than others. Why? Why do you do that?
Because it's true. >.>
>Why don't you guys eat an apple,
I do.
>read a book,
I've been reading Dostoevsky lately. I've also been through a lot of Nietzsche's works including "The Birth of Tragedy From The Spirit Of Music", and also several acclaimed English works including the works of Kurt Vonnegut, George Orwell, HP Lovecraft, etc. I've made it through the first book of "Les Miserables", am getting ready to read "The Count of Monte Cristo", and have taken time out to read the spiritual books of Hinduism, including two Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita, and have also had to interpret the social commentaries in Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis". And just lately, I finished the first play of "The Tragedy of Faust" by Goethe. I'm pretty sure I have a better track record than you.
>take a change, stop being so harsh. Or else I'll have to be harsh with you.
Ooh, I'm so scared.
>We don't want anyone of you Ignorant Blockheads to be flaming on threads anymore!
Ooh, I'm so hurt Mr I Think Name Calling Actually Does Things. >.>
>Don't you have something better to do?
Yes, lots. But I need some entertainment too.
>Can't you just respect peoples opinions.
No.
>Goodbye, you lose,
Not at all.
>you suck,
K?
>try being nice for once.
Hypocrisy.
>You should be deaf, no longer listen to the music you've always admired.

>1)They made little remakes.
They reused entire songs.
They're not the same thing. At all.

Sgt Pepper's was a complete Pet Sounds rip-off.
>4)I'm sure you did not teach yourself how to play the piano. You're just trying to be like Paul. And even if you did teach yourself to play piano, you're not rich and famous like Paul, so you have nothing to show for it.
Why would I want to be like Paul? And yes, I did teach myself piano. You just don't want to accept that. So what if I have nothing to show for it? Indie exists, bro.

They reused entire songs. -- Look at the majority of the songs the group produced. Hundreds, hand written, practiced for ten hours a day. And they had less than, like, 5 remakes...
They're not the same thing. At all.
--- Yes they are... They've got the same sound and they're all talented writers.
Sgt Pepper's was a complete Pet Sounds rip-off. --- "Pet sounds" and "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" have nothing in common...
Why would I want to be like Paul? And yes, I did teach myself piano. You just don't want to accept that. So what if I have nothing to show for it? Indie exists, bro. ----
If you're such a good pianist, then prove it to me. Become rich and famous. Do it. If you're as talented and godly as you say you are, prove it.
I'm not trying to be mean or act like I'm better than you, I just want you to show me some proof why you think the Beatles are bad other than theyre "Derivative" or "Trash" or "nothing special". |

I never said I was "godly".
And yes, Sgt Pepper's rips off Pet Sounds so much. Actually listen to it. |
