[MESSAGE TO C&G'ers] Hello C&G'ers, I am solely making this thread for UCR. I am asking you to take this thread with a grain of salt as it is strictly for those in UCR or those who plan on joining. Keep negative comments out of this thread, if you don't like UCR, make your own hate threads about it. Also, no one cares if you post "TL;DR', all it tells us is that you probably are still in pre-school and find it hard to read more than one sentence in a thread. Thank you!

i. Introduction ii. Basic Training Rules iii. Training Places iv. Training Courses v. How trainings should be hosted vi. Group Rules vii. Punishments viii. Promotions ix. Conclusion
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i. INTRODUCTION
As many of you know, I am the new Directory of Member Development (DoMD). My job is simple; I manage the trainings, discipline, and development within the UCR. You may consult me with any problems you may have with how trainings are hosted, the discipline within the group, or any piece of development which involves trainings and discipline.
As some of you know, Froast was the old DoMD before he resigned from his postion because he had more important things to do. At the time Froast was the DoMD, he had his own Training Rules & Guidelines set up. As the new DoMD, I respect the rules Froast has put out, and I will try my best to keep those rules intact. Some rules of course will be changed because I find they have limited users in ways of developing further for UCR. My rules will be almost the same as Froast's, so I expect everyone to follow them THOROUGHLY.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ii. Basic Training Rules
Before hosting trainings, and when hosting trainings, they're basic rules you must follow:
- Every trainee must listen to the training host & high ranks - Trainees must follow all orders given out by the host and high ranks - Trainees should never flame each other - NEVER TEAM KILL (applies to EVERYONE) - Captains must also respect each other and refrain from insulting - Captains should never co-host a training unless the host allows you to - Captains should never take over a training unless the host allows you to
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iii. Training Places
As some of you know, Froast had put up restrictions in which people can only host trainings at APPROVED training places. I found that rule very limiting towards UCR's development, and as it did stop people from hosting trainings at just base plates, it did restrict other UCR members from creating their own places as they though "My place will never be as good as their".
I will partially remove this rule, and replace with some more specific limitations. Anyone can host a training at any UCR training place, but the training place MUST have the following:
-Area where members can meat up and discuss the training -AT LEAST 4 TRAINING COURSES (ex. Tourney, FFA, TDM, Obby, etc.) -Sword -Assault rifle -Pistol (optional) -Admin commands [All HRs must be admin in the script] -ALL WEAPONS MUST ALSO BE IN LIGHTING -Spawns -Course Area Spawns (Spawns & Teams for different courses)
With the things your place should have, there is always something your place SHOULDN'T have:
FREE MODELS. I cannot stress this enough, many members tend to use free models in their places which the members do not give credit to in the descripton, or the place itself. The free models usually end up lagging the place, or not working properly. If I find that you have been using free models, I will ask you to remove the free models or else I will forbid you from hosting trainings there.
These are the only free models you can be using in your place:
-Admin commands script -Spawns & Teams -Any mandatory script you cannot make yourself -Weapons
If I find you have used any free models except for the ones above, then your training place will not be allowed to be used for trainings until it meets the requirements.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iv. Training Courses
Every training place must have more than 4 courses. This means that there should be at least 4 training events members can participate in. This rule applies because I want members to have more than FFA and tourneys.
Here are some of the courses you place can have:
- Sword Fighting Tournament - Gun Tournament - Obstacle Courses - Group Obstacle Courses - Free For All - Team Death Match - Capture the Flag - Raiders vs. Defenders
Any four of the above can be in your place, if you have other ideas for training courses, feel free to use them in your place. You can make as many training courses as you want, but make sure they all are accessible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
v. How trainings should be hosted
Every training has a way to be hosted. When hosting trainings, you first allow members to spawn in the meeting area, and have at least 10 members there before you start. Ask the members if they have any questions about the training, let them ask. After you have done anything involving the meeting, you can take members for any course you want. Remember though; don't spend too much time on one course as members can get easily bored. Have members to do something while they wait for a Tourney to finish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vi. Group Rules
When they're training rules, there are also group rules ever user must follow:
- Captains are allowed to shout ONCE a day - Captains are allowed to host ONE training a day - Captains cannot ask someone to host another training for them if they already have - Do not over shout other Captains or High Ranks - Tags mean that you can over shout after ONE HOUR - You must include tags when you are shouting - If your training is disrupted by a raid or defence, then you can re-host your training, but do not shout again. If you want to re-host a training, get permission from a high rank first, and maybe even ask THEM to shout for you. If they allow you to shout again, then it is fine.
- Captains can host a training at the same place as many times they want - High ranks can host as many trainings as they like, but hosting too many training might not give other members a chance, and you might get a stern talk with TDFall or a Vice
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
vii. Punishments
When members act disloyal, most members will simply kick them or ban them. To be honest, I have done this many times. Due to a recent meeting, I have understood to strictly add these punishment rules.
When a member disobeys you, inform that person of their actions. If they continue to be disloyal, use the kill command on them. If that persons respawns and continues with their actions, then you can use the punish command on them. If the member apologizes you can unpunish them, but if they continue with their actions then you can kick them.
****Bans must only ben given out when it is absolutely necessary****
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
viii. Promotions
Promotions can be given in two ways:
1. If the one or two members do extremely well in the training 2. Through a point system
1: If a member does extremely well, and out performs other members. Do not promote any more than four members.
2: The point system is used in many trainings in other groups. Basically, when a member wins a training course like a Tourney, they are awarded one or two points depending on what they won. Several members can receive points depending on what they win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ix. Conclusion
To end it off here, these basic Training Guidelines are to help Captains with their trainings and how they can make the training experience best for our UCR members. If someone comes to the training to simply observe, do not kick them, but let them see how well UCR behaves during these trainings. This applies to both Trainers and Trainees. We must show that UCR is a respectful and ACTIVE clan.
These training rules apply to ALL MEMBERS OF UCR. The President, Vice President, Directors, and Senators can bend the rules all they want. You have no obligation to stop them.
Thank you, and have a good training, UCR!

Thank you.
Sorry for reposting this, my previous thread was made in a hurry, and seemed very unorganized.

| I like it, just don't single out Captains. Senators and even Directors can learn something and have to follow these rules as well. Only VP's and Presidents can bend these rules, since they are higher than you. Don't make HR's all brilliant and almighty because there are non-perfect HRs out there too, as hinted the AA we had just a few days ago. |

@halo720
I'm calling out the Captains because they are the ones who host most of the trainings. I can't remember the last time a Senator hosted a BAD training. I've seen many Captains hosting trainings where no member is listening to them, and the entire training is just falling apart.

@killer
You know, he isn't the only scripter. I can make it too. >.>
@victor
This was not your idea. I made this thread all by myself, using my own ideas. You were not the first to think of restrictions for places.
I'm not going to give you credit for what anyone here could have thought of. |

Very nice, simple to read, easy to follow, and has made some very good points. I cannot see anything wrong with it. Nice job.
@ Victor
