Iraq, once the land of a genocidal psychopath known as Saddam Hussein, is now a democracy. The occupation is over and Iraq is now 100% autonomous.
Some of the most unlikely places in the world, like Panama, Japan, and South Korea have been turned into democracies.
We WILLINGLY gave up the second most valuable strip of land in the world, the Panama Canal, to Panama.
We stopped the genocide of Muslims in the Balkans.
Even if you're not convinced by these achievements, consider the alternative. Would China hesitate to impose their authoritarianism on any nation in the world? Would Russia? Would you want to live under Russian or Chinese occupation? |

Thanks for saying authoritarianism instead of communism, but for the purposes of the Long War you can refer to it as communism (hopefully we can all make the distinction between nominal communism and Marxist communism). The Long War, after all, was a conflict to determine the legitimacy of either Parliamentary, Fascist, or Communist states. |

Thanks for saying authoritarianism instead of communism, ___ That's rule #1 of unsavory debating. Be as intentionally vague as possible ("authoritarian") so you can lie and defend whatever your point was. |

"Iraq is now a democracy" Yes, its a democracy, minus 100,000+ people who died as a result of the invasion

Yes, its a democracy, minus 100,000+ people who died as a result of the invasion ______ How many more would have died under Hussein? How many people would simply "never be heard from again?" How many Kurds would be gassed? How many people would starve?
You have a very difficult case to make that Saddam Hussein was somehow superior to what the US brought. |

| You're ridiculous, you used that as an excuse to take advantage of their natural resources. You miserably act like a world wide power rangers. |

For future reference, you've just identified something known as Parmenides Fallacy. |

That's impressive. When did I say that? xD
You're (I'm?) absolutely correct. I remember fallacies because I have to be aware of them all the time, and wikipedia is extremely helpful. Geography, on the other hand, is basically knowing where the middle east is and who borders who, and is something that I rarely have to recall. |

| Weird, it still applies to me though (at least for geography, perhaps not memory in general). |

Does the creation of the School of Americas count? It was set up by the U.S. military and has since had graduates such as Emilio Massera (Naval Officer who was supported by the U.S. due to his opposition to Communism -founded a torture center and killed around 30,000 people by such methods as dropping them out of airplanes and also sold infants from the women he captured to military members.-) and a large amount of other corrupt and notorious people.

We actually had a murderer go to my current high school. Is my high school to blame? |

You assumed correctly, lol. I should have been more specific. Your argument against whatever you were arguing against could have been condensed into saying "Parmenides fallacy" and leaving it at that. YOU weren't wrong, he was. :D |

| It depends on who you ask. There's been a surprisingly large quantity of now notorious people who have graduated from that school, not just one or two. The institution is on "watch" and has had several protests regarding its existence. |

People do not know who to blame, so they blame the US for all of their problems, instead of striving to solve the problems themselves ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes. People just want someone to be mad at. Not that America is spotless, but it is pretty darn good in my opinion. |

For future reference, the Cubans and the Soviet Union tried to impose their rule on South African land...and the end result in what we call Nambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.
