This may not have happened to anybody else, but I want to stop a major exploit before it may happen. I've been having recent troubles with browsers. When I open a different browser than the one I'm using, it logs me out. This could be a problem for a few other users aswell. Exploiters can abuse this by inserting two viruses using a form of bait, one for opening up the issue browser and one for keylogging. I'm not really sure about this but I only trying to be aware of the issue I noticed that could happen.

Your cookies don't carry over from one browser to another, so why would you be logged in when you open a different browser? Also, this has nothing to do with viruses or key logging.

@Merely You're wrong, why is it happening? I don't know. And I never said it had to anything with exploiters YET. It could be an opening for stealing.

Are you talking about "logged out" as in logged out of your windows profile, or logged out of ROBLOX or any websites you are on? If you get logged out of web sites, that's because cookies do not carry over from browser to browser. This is not an exploit, nor is it possible to "steal" with this.

Logging out of ROBLOX, and you're STILL wrong. It can be abused as an exploit if exploiters find out how to use it. It is possible to steal with this, they can keylog your account and steal it and find out any useful information they can use to steal from you.

You don't seem to have a grasp of how browsers work. Your session when you log into ROBLOX only applies to that one browser. If you logged in to Internet Explorer and then open up Firefox, you won't be logged in on Firefox. That's because Internet Explorer has different cookies than Firefox.
This is not a weakness, this is intentional on the part of browsers. This does NOT create a security hole, and an exploiter cannot steal your account or keylog you or find any information about you just because your cookies don't carry over from browser to browser. You're grouping together two entirely unrelated things and saying one causes the other. |

My apologies, this was only a misconception on the browser part. I've had pop-ups log me out that work in a different browser and those only log me out. Opening the browser by myself has no effect.

@merely It has NOTHING to do with cookies. It works with something else.
