ROBLOX should add a "Delete Post " button for the creators of the threads to use. It could help a lot of users because it would allow them to delete the posts of flammers, trollers, and spammers. Also, adding this button would be good for other users who use the thread because if the author of the thread deletes flammers, trollers, and spammers posts, other people won't have to deal with them. Another reason is it would help prevent flammers, trollers, and spammers from doing what they do, therefore improving ROBLOX. What do you guys think about this idea?

@Bodumfan, no, only the author of the thread can delete posts on that thread only.

Would be useful on some occasions. But what if someone makes a thread with inappropriate stuff in it, then deletes it before anyone can report?

Well, if someone did make a thread just to delete it again, maybe roblox could track what posts are deleted.

Pretty good idea, I hate readingsome threads and seeing a flame war break out, it's annoying when a perfectly good thread gets ruined be a careless person. Support.

@Zebra, once again maybe ROBLOX can track what posts are deleted, I bet the author deleting his own thread would raise a red flag when ROBLOX tracks that deleted post.

UGH. I HATE THIS IDEA SO MUCH. Let me tell you why:
Guy gets on S&I. Guy makes horrible idea. Guy deletes all criticizing comments.

@ Swordism, okay, I knew this reply would come, but let me tell you why that wouldn't happen. The author deletes multiple posts, ROBLOX decides to look into it, ROBLOX finds the posts were deleted for no apparent reason, the author of the thread gets punished. See how that system works?

100% support, the authors of threads only have the ability to allow or not allow replys, being able to delete posts gives them more control over their threads.

@karissa, thanks, you make a good point about authors of threads not having much control over their threads.

No.
No support.
Why? Because it's a horrible idea, anyone who can make a very bad idea will delete criticizing comments.
What I would rather want is a EDIT button so you cane edit your posts. |

@ MasterCheifOwnsNoobs, as I said before, if somebody deleted multiple posts on the thread, ROBLOX would look into it, find they wrongfully deleted the posts, and punish the user who deleted the posts. Also, if you want a edit button, make a thread about it.

I already have made a thread about it.
And no, to be honest, this is a pointless idea. There's no reason behind it. OPs should not have that much control over their posters. Being able to completely stop the replying process is good enough. And what if Roblox finds them, what are they going to do? Hm? IP ban him for deleting criticizing posts? You're funny. |

@MasterCheifOwnsNoobs, You're thread is partly a copy of mine, plus, ROBLOX would punish him with a warning or a ban. Also, if this is a pointless idea, why did you make a thread about it too? Also, being able to stop replies isn't enough, it's just the mere disablity to reply. The author should be able to have a bit more control over their thread.
