I've known this for quite a long time
but everyone is too busy glorifying Japan to realize that they are still racist and very much dangerous. |

@boeing
I would compare their military more or so to the Norwegian military. They are professionally trained, but they serve small terms and are called upon in war as a militia. |

| I'm more worried about China. The US owes them millions of dollars, and what's gonna happen when Chine wants that money, but we can't pay off the debt? I can certainly see conflict ensuing. |

I thought you were gonna say something about Man vs Machine... Oh well, it could happen.
Anyway, if they altered history, then they fail. We just need a nuke. |

China is too dependent on America to go to war with them, and vice versa.
The only way the two would fight would be in proxy wars (Iran vs. Israel, etc.) |

NO country wants nuclear warfare
no country would be foolish enough to even attempt to start one anyway

| The thing with nuclear warfare is that, if you nuke a country, then tend to do the same to you. |

most Japanese high command before the Pacific War started knew they could never win a war with America. They still tried anyway. |

America was given most of the Pacific islands in the Treaty of Paris. We didn't occupy any Japanese islands or territory.
And plus, the only reason Japan went to war was so they could get oil again (because the American oil embargo) |

You can't deny the nationalist feelings though. Just like with the middle east, they don't have to fight conventional wars. |

@another
See: the Japanese occupation of China. Lowest source I have found says nearly 10 million Chinese dead.
Instant justification for atomic bombs. |
