Here is the new enemy of Halo 4, the Prometheans.
They are part of the Forerunner civilization, the ancient race that dominated the galaxy in Halo 10,000 Years ago. |

Yeah, I know. But they do look cool. And I'm pretty sure Elites will still be playable in Multiplayer Mode. |

>Implying that the human-covenant war didn't end with halo 3
>Implying that there is a reason to be fighting the same thing in a different trilogy
>Implying the covenant isn't in halo 4.
That is all.

@sky: But what about Reach? Or is that a spin-off?

| The enemies also look like robots. I'm not sure what they are, but they look like robots. Also, I'm not acctually sure if the Covenant will be in this game. But I'm pretty sure the Flood will. |

They look sort of like robots, but they behave like insects

So, are these enemies going to be more on the brawn side than the brains?
Oh, I also saw some enemies that looked like robot dogs. Well, they walked on two legs. |

@sir
Well, they are supposed to be intelligent, they are Promethean after all. I think the main reason they designed them like that however is not because of the fact that insects are dumb, but they are incredibly co-ordinated, and many insects when in swarms communicate within one another and work together. I think that is what they were trying to show with the Promethean, and considering that their AI DOES do this (Some Promethean protect others depending on class), it sort of make sense. It shows irony in some way, how such an advance species will go back to such a primitive method, which is both primitive and increasingly difficult to achieve.

Hm, interesting. So, are these things even robots? If not, I really hope to see their Flood forms. |
