He had heard their voices, seen their faces. Watched them beg as the shutters closed. The shutters... they covered every window, every door. They couldn't be openned, couldn't be broken, the walls... none of it made any sense. He had found the shutters open, sometimes, but they close before he got near, before he could make out anything but darkness in the world beyond. He couldn't help but get the dark feeling that something was controlling them... mocking him.
As he walked through the darkened halway, he knew he was dead. He went too far past the clinic, to an area that was completly unmapped, unexplored, but an area that he knew was dangerous. He had to run here, but now, he walked, hoping that the creatures he had hidden from would finally find him.
And then, peeking from behind a corner, was light.
He approached it- a hope dwelling within him, though it didn't show in his pace. Holding a hand over his eyes, he saw that it was a large exit, a large garage-like door pulling back. Etched into the wall was the word 'CONGRATULATIONS'.
He squinted at the light, looking into it. He could hear... birds. He could hear happy, but distant voices and laughs, their words muffled in the calm wind. It was... an exit. A way out of this place. He stared dumbfounded as he walked into the blinding light, his eyes not accustomed to it from years of treading in the darkness.
And then suddenly, darkness surrounded him as silence fell, as if a light had turned off, as if the sounds of the world had turned off. No longer blinded by the light, he looked around, and his eyes widened as he looked horrified at the world he had stumbled into, the glowing eyes of ungodly creatures staring back at him from every angle.
He desperatly turned towards the exit, only to see the shutters close behind him.

===-==-=-- October 26th, 2042 Headline - "Unknown millitary strikes the East Complex- sealed in preparation for offensive maneuvers." (18 similiar...) -=!=- External creatures allowed into East Complex. Entrances permanently sealed, observatory devices in place. Witnesses terminated.
|| BACKGROUND
Your little group of survivors doesn't know much about the background of the place they inhabit. What they do know is that it started with the founding of the Mavenplex, a Utopia set to take place in a huge facility. While the official explanation for it ranges from a political experiment to a paradise set as a luxury resort for the most influential people (this not even being true, as common folks were allowed in seemingly at random) in the world, it was actually in preparation for a devastating global event. Exactly what that event was is not exactly clear... the effects, however, were obvious.
The eastern complex was the part of town where the famous did not go- it handled warehouses, technicalities, clinics, places for the lower class to work. There was a poorly residential area for the workers and their families in the eastern complex, however, they made sure of that. The eastern complex ended up not containing any importance to the Mavenplex at all- the creatures from the outside world were released into the complex solely as some form of social experiment.
The survivors hoarded into a more defensible part of the warehouse complex, and set up base there. As part of the experiment, there were three ways out of not only the Eastern Complex, but out of the entire Mavenplex. One has already been sealed- the other two, however, are still open, and finding them is the lead cause for the survivors.
|| MONSTERS
--=-=- BEAUTIFUL ONES -=-=-- DIFFICULTY ■■□□□
The Beautiful ones are creatures that look once human- what differentiates them, however, is their pale, wrinkled flesh, their bent arms and quadrupedal disposition, and their piercing, unearthly roar. They travel quickly on all fours, and attack with there claws and sharp fangs.
--=-=- SARKEAS -=-=-- DIFFICULTY ■■■□□
The Sarkeas are towering beasts- while their appearance is similiar to the beautiful ones, they can be told apart easily by their muscular disposition, their low roar, and their giant, disfigured left arm that it uses like a club to smash you into the wall or ground.
--=-=- RYOMIAS -=-=-- DIFFICULTY ■■■□□
The Ryomias are terrorifying in that they ensure that you will not see them until it's too late-they hide inside the walls, crawling along the ceilings and through the shadows, waiting for the moment to strike you down. The compensation is that they'll do it quick.
--=-=- DARK SYDANS -=-=-- DIFFICULTY ■■■■□
Horiffying, stationary heart-like monsters, that can often be found in the center of a room, attached to organic chains coming from the walls in all angles. That room is essentially inaccessible to all but the most well equipped travellerers, as the chains are corrosive to the touch and incredibly hard to cut- and if you do, they become mobile, attempting to impale you.
Note that these are only the most common and most infamous of the creatures in the facility. There are many not talked about here, so expect anything.

|| SKILLS
There are four skills, which can be decided on the character sheet. Normally, you only get one- VIPs get to pick two. Note that some situations require a certain skill to pass, so it is reccomended that you bring along others with varied skills on your trips. Notice that other skills can be aquired through very rare intelligence devices.

Makes you more accurate and skilled with firearms, allows for use of special weapons
-==-==- Heavy Hitter Makes you hit faster and harder with meelee weapons, allows for use of special weapons

|| INSTRUCTIONS
If you want some knowledge of your surroundings, read the background- most importantly, the final paragraph. That paragraph details your starting area- which will be explained in depth here...
It is a large warehouse-like facility, the entrance guarded by two walls made from scrap, heavily armed guards on top of them. You require authorization to pass through those gates into the more dangerous outer areas. In a wall inbetween those gates is the entrance to the armory- if you manage to sneak in, you can get legendary armor and weaponry, but it's not reccomended, as theres nowhere to hide and its very well guarded.
Deeper into the warehouse is the main square. The walls have big piles of scrap piled against them- while it's mostly rubbish, a resourceful scavenger can find something useful in them. The entrance to the west is the entrance to the market, where RPers can buy and sell items with the currency of the place, which are called 'Fohlds' (פ).
The door to the east is the entrance to the worker's area- full of small jobs, shops, and places to craft new items. It is also the place to go if you want to get authorization to exit the warehouse area and explore.
The door to the south is the entrance to the living areas. An apartment, which consists of a living room, a kitchen, a crafting room, and a bed room, can be purchased for 5,000 פ. Put the words 'Jebuduuluu' under your character sheet if you read this far.
Remember, your goal is to find one of the two remaining doors to the outer world before the others do. When all the doors are found, the roleplay essentially ends. This does not mean this is a competitive roleplay- just some food for thought. It's also worth nothing that this does not mean that only two roleplayers can make it out- entire groups can get out, so if you find one, it's reccomended you go back and tell the others.
|| RULES
- Be smart. - Practice artistic merit. - Abide by standard Roblox rules. - "It's not in the rules" isn't an excuse- what I say, goes. - Dont say 'I found a box and, when I look inside, I find a toaster.' The roleplay will play out more as- 'You find a box.' 'I look inside.' 'You find a toaster.' - To know how much money you have, or what items are in the market, just ask. - No Mary/Gary Stus- characters must have at least one obvious flaw, and must not be too picture perfect. A character that is described as 'being so skinny that they look dyslexic, but their not' is an common and annoying example of a Mary/Gary Stu. - Try to make sense. For example, if somebody else finds a special area, don't have your character get the sudden urge to go to that area. - If you get banned, don't argue or complain. You will be ignored. - Have fun, or else.

Appearance - [details appreciated, but not neccesary] I have blonde spikey hair, pushed off to the right, still sticking up. I have black highlights, and I wear shutter shades, at all times. I have a bandana around my mouth (For a reason that will be revleaed later). I sport a white and red tanktop, with cargo shorts and k-swiss tubes (Shoes). I am rather tan, and decently muscular.
Personality - [details appreciated, but not neccesary] I'm quiet. Very, quiet. In fact, I'm mute. I'm not actually mute, but I just never speak (I will when I have to, do not worry). I am the silent, strong, mysterious type. I have a great knowledge of philosophy, physics, and mechanics.
Bio - [details appreciated, but not neccesary] I was always quiet, always. They diagnosed me as mute, even though I can talk just find. I'm strong, silent, and mysetrious. When I was a child, my parents left me. I was then put up for adoption, and lived in the village orphanage until I became 18. I then left, starting my adventure. I lived in a rundown apartment, right next to a library. I learned everything I know from books alone.

N4me - Cole Demcher
4ge- 21 Appearance - Cole has messy brown hair that he makes no attempt to comb down, His fair skin and hazel eyes give him the look of an unoticable guy usually found in the background of movies, He isn't particularly attractive but he isn't disgusting either, He is abnormally average. He wears a black long-sleeved shirt accompanied by some slightly baggy jeans. Black and white checked sneakers finish the outfit and he will also wear a brown duster coat when he heads out to scavenge. Personality - Cole likes to be the guy that keeps everyone happy and on the same page. He does this by cracking dumb jokes and avoiding conflict. He usually gets irritated when the others in his group start fighting. Bio - He was working as a new detective before he was chosen to be sent into the complex. Ever since he entered he traded his gun skills for scavenging and tinkering since they seemed to be more usefull. He can still handle a firearm with ease although his aim may not be pretty he can get the job done. His repair got a few of the lights in the facility up and running. You are in the main square, gazing at the gloomy scenery. You both have 1000פ that you got from doing odd jobs, and selling thing you found or created. You don't yet, however, have a pass to leave the warehouse, a fact you regret.
Behind you is a large pile of scrap. It's mostly useless junk, though you thought that you saw the glint of something shiny in there earlier. The main square was mostly empty, only a couple people wandering around.
Of them, there was, in a far corner, a person who looks like a man with wealth to share. Sitting on a pile of scrap was a person who looked incredibly troubled- you couldn't help but wonder what they were so worried about. |

"What seems to be troubling you, My Good Sir?" I said. I left my bandana and aviators on. I was surprised I had talked to the man, it Just kind of came out. |
