Semi-offtopic, but it relates to reducing lag on ROBLOX.

Google 'Craftscape', which is an WebGL chrome project (I think). Anyway, it lags on my computer, does it lag on yours?

Does it lag as much as ROBLOX? And this is why I want (Although don't want) realistic water on ROBLOX.

No, it doesn't lag on my machine. And if you had bothered to read a bit on the comments about it across the web you will notice that people have said it lags immensely instead of posting here among the experts of Water simu.. oh wait. Mostly with people with bad cards.

And no this doesn't help with any type of lag issues in ROBLOX. Speaking of realistic water, see what the world in ROBLOX looks like and if a realistic water will fit in there. Its a no.

I think ROBLOX is prioritizing the graphics update THEN the maximum players... Idk.

I have a GT630M so I don't think it should lag.

I wouldn't know if it would have lagged. I got impatient when it didn't load after 5 minutes (5 minutes is a long time on the internet), but I don't think I have support for WebGL anyway, so yeah.

If you actually played ROBLOX you would notice that Roblox 2.0 bodies in itself have a hard time fitting into the ROBLOX world. I don't see you complaining about that. The 3.0 bodies are not so different. Then again, I am probably wasting my time by explaining this.

I'm not sure what's blatantly unrealistic about the water on Roblox - the physics work, it doesn't lag, the only thing it doesn't do is flow (which is irritating but you can make it yourself, and flowing water is usually something you would want game-specific)

It does on the average computer. You can't just say something doesn't lag after testing it on a computer built for gaming and suchlike.

Try it on an average kid's computer, the main audience of roblox, and get like 1 FPS.

And that's only water. Add in parts and voxels and all the game and rendering logic for that. I'd be surprised if you got a frame every few seconds.

Still dat water was ugly. Actually it would be enough, if they made roblox water able to flow, otherwise i have never touched terrain stuff.

I get 30 fps on it on my old laptop which gets 25 fps on league of legends. Not sure what your definition of "average" is.
