I know, I know, it's against the WNTS. But, just this time, hear me out for once.
So, like I was saying, I'm suggesting Volunteer Moderators.
No, I'm not talking about kids that have ban powers, because that's overrated.
I'm talking about specially chosen kids that don't have ban powers, but something else.
See, the 'specially chosen' kids (Mikkeldude, frozengaia, etc.) would have the power to send a personal report to a moderator (like privately) in which the moderator would notice (like with an icon? I don't know!) and then check it through to decide the punishment.
It would have to be by invite to be a volunteer moderator. The invite would be from the ROBLOX Crew (The administrators) and the player would have a choice.
I noticed how some forums are different than others, so I made up this 'chart':
Roblox Talk: 10 volunteer moderators (a bit too much? :P)
Let's Make a Deal: 3 Volunteer moderators
Suggestions and Ideas: 5 Volunteer moderators (Mikkeldude, frozengaia, Aleezybaby0, theblock24, cobalt10)
Off-Topic: 10 volunteer moderators (again, too much???)
So, if you're reading this sentence, then I would like to thank you for hearing me out for once. Please reply and give feedback! |

I like the idea. It is a WNTS, but, I still support.

So, these volunteer moderators won't have the rights to use moderation action on threads and posts, but instead just have the ability to get a moderator's attention?
Reports do that just as well, can you explain more on how this would be more effective than just reporting? |

"It would have to be by invite to be a volunteer moderator. "
Then, this isn't volunteering. |

@Mikkel Well, instead of waiting, your report would be spotted right away. Like I said, it would have an icon or something next to the report.

"Well, instead of waiting, your report would be spotted right away."
Why should these users have their reports noticed directly, just because their "moderators".
I don't really think this makes their report any more special than any other persons report. |

Let me rephrase what I said earlier:
Just because these users are "moderators", it doesn't make their report's any more better than any other user's report's.

| Their reports would be less likely to be false reports and more legit. I support. |

I see what you are saying, but, it won't make that much of a difference. A whole bunch of people report and "special moderators" report gets seen before all others? It wouldn't really help that much.

So-
A volunteer moderator just gets the advantage of quick-seen reports. It's okay, it just wouldn't be too effective. |

I'm trying to say that...
They are chosen for their grammar, good behaviour, etc. Then they get an invite (accept or decline) Then, when they send a report, they have to explain it good. Then, real moderator sees. Then, real moderator decides to ban or not.

EXCUSE ME? >:U WHY AM I NOT AMONGST THE SPECIAL KIDS. I ORGANIZED A STICKY FOR GOODNESS CAKE.

Anyway, this sounds pointless and indistinguishable from the current system. I don't see how this would make them a "mod" and last but definitely least, that's an incorrect use of the word "overrated".

| Terrible idea. All you do is send reports with a icon next to them. All it will do is make others people reports LONGER to see because they will go to the icons first. If you want someone banned, report. It takes about a hour to ban someone on any game. |

| Support, but maybe it would have to be 7 mods for S&I because honestly S&I gets more trolls and little kids then anywhere else. |

ZebraPlox, think of it this way,
People = Report bad stuff to the mods and admins. Volunteer Moderators = Report REALLY bad stuff to the mods and admins. Moderators = Lock and delete bad posts/threads. Admins = BANN HAMMA TIEM. |

And what would make any Volunteer Moderators report's more worth while?
"They are chosen for their grammar, good behaviour, etc."
Besides, all of these "requirements" have nothing to do with "good" or "legit" reports, you can't guarantee that these "volunteer moderators will give any decent report just for acknowledging them on something completely different. |

@ZebraPlox Therefore volunteer moderators should be chosen based on the quality of their reports as a regular user. So if most of your reports were accurate and did deserve action to be taken (remove message/send warning/ban), while you yourself did not ever get banned or do not get banned frequently, then you may be an acceptable choice.
However, this suggestion needs more work before I would support it. |
