Don't get me wrong, the US USED to be an amazing country. We USED to have the most powerful millitary, we USED to be an amazing symbol of liberty and justice. But now we have the highest prison population in the world, and I look at this generation and people who are morally upright can be few and far between.
Justice, there is not much justice, the man/woman with the most money gets "justice" it feels like nowadays, the lawyers who are willing to use deceptive techniques in court get their clients "justice". You know it's true, I've seen it happen, many have, the "justice" system is flawed.
"Justice: jus·tice/ˈjəstis/ Noun: 1.Just behavior or treatment. 2.The quality of being fair and reasonable."
I don't see that today...
It's a sad truth, a sad truth many choose not to face, but it is true. I also see in the youth, reality shows putting ideas in teen's heads that they need to be pretty and mean to succeed. The idea that woman are there for men's entertainment. That woman must be skinny or they're worth nothing, that kind of message has made teens and even some celebrities almost STARVE themselves to death.
If the founding fathers were alive today to see what this country has become, I scarcely want to imagine what they would think. My guess would be that they would be horrified. They built this country on Judeo-Christian values, yet many politicians want to keep ALL RELIGIONS out of the public ring, because that's "religious freedom. Well it's NOT, I think all religions should be allowed in the public ring, we should be able to bring a Bible, Quran, Wicca Spellbook, and whatever religious book we want without it being THROWN AWAY before our eyes. THAT IS RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

I'm pretty sure I can have my copy of the Quran if I were to move to America.

Because you're spending all that taxes into military more and more and services less and less.

| The reason for that is because the US has a high population and it's justice system is good. |

We have the greatest military when it comes to tech. US foot soldiers now just suck as hell. Stay behind the computer screens and launch rockets.

| Agreed. Completely. You are so right. But if we fight for what we believe is right, I believe there is still good in America, and we CAN recover. Another amazing post! Thanks man! Inspiring! |

The US may have changed, but there is no going back to the past unless someone hurries up and builds a time machineso I can go back in time and change my mistakes. Either way, there are still things that are good about the US, the military included. That is it.
P.S. does anyone realize how powerful US and NATO would be if we had Russia as an Ally? |

They [the founding fathers] built this country on Judeo-Christian values
____
Some interesting quotes from said founding fathers:
“Knowledge and liberty are so prevalent in this country, that I do not believe that the United States would ever be disposed to establish one religious sect, and lay all others under legal disabilities. But as we know not what may take place hereafter, and any such test would be exceedingly injurious to the rights of free citizens, I cannot think it altogether superfluous to have added a clause, which secures us from the possibility of such oppression.”
~Oliver Wolcott
“Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.”
~Thomas Jefferson
“The civil government … functions with complete success … by the total separation of the Church from the State.”
~James Madison
“And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”
~James Madison
“I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.”
~ Thomas Jefferson
“The Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.”
~ 1797 Treaty of Tripoli, signed by John Adams
“The United States of America have exhibited, perhaps, the first example of governments erected on the simple principles of nature; and if men are now sufficiently enlightened to disabuse themselves of artifice, imposture, hypocrisy, and superstition, they will consider this event as an era in their history. Although the detail of the formation of the American governments is at present little known or regarded either in Europe or in America, it may hereafter become an object of curiosity. It will never be pretended that any persons employed in that service had interviews with the gods, or were in any degree under the influence of Heaven, more than those at work upon ships or houses, or laboring in merchandise or agriculture; it will forever be acknowledged that these governments were contrived merely by the use of reason and the senses.”
~ John Adams

Most of the founding fathers are deists and not Christians.
America was not founded on Judeo-Christian teachings.
In 1796, America signed a treaty with Tripoli stating:
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..." |
