-Make so-and-so a forum moderator. (We don't have volunteer mods anymore. All mods are Roblox employees and work in many areas of the site.)
Can't you read the WNTS? |

I know this is WNTS, but I support anyway....
Also, what would my chances be?

Sorry, but with how our moderation system is set up, this isn't a very functional idea.
When moderators receive a report, we receive the following things:
-The time of the report -The username and Robloxian of the user reporting -The username and Robloxian of the user being reported -The reason, if any is supplied, for the reporter sending the report -The content of whatever is being reported. In the case of a forum message, it's the subject line and body.
Because moderators must work very fast to stay on top of reports, we tend to focus on the last three: the user being reported, the actual content they are being reported for, and what the reporter has said in the comments is wrong with the content.
To be a helpful Robloxian dedicated to keeping the forums clean, you need only report consistently, make clear remarks about what is wrong with the forum post or comment, and be patient during times of high traffic. Being a minimod --that is, acting like a mod and going around citing rules at fellow players-- isn't helpful, but we can and do recognize which users routinely send us accurate, reliable reports, and we're very appreciative of any Robloxian who takes the time to report inappropriate content to the mods.
So basically, what you're suggesting (have volunteer forum mods with no special powers but who are recognized by the moderation team) is something that is ALREADY possible-- just be a helpful reporter! |
