Wii is infinitely better.
3DS has an OKAY UI, but the Wii's is far more intuitive. And don't even get me started on the DSI and regular DS. |

The DSi is just a DS with an i.
I was talking about the Linux distros for them. Like Whiite Linux vs DSLinux. |

I haven't used them, in that case. That is, unless you're talking about the distro provided in the actual console, like, when you buy it.
As far as Linux goes, I'm happy with it being the primary on my dual-boot PC. |

What distro do you use on your PC? Mint is probably the best for home use. Ubuntu and Fedora are good, too.
Installing Whiite 0.1 on the Wii is incredibly easy, and you can also get XWhiite 0.1, which comes with Fluxbox. But if you install Whiite 0.1 and aren't bothering with getting a GUI, you can replace the filesystem with Whiite 1.10 and use the newest version, although it really doesn't seem too indifferent.

On my PC, I use Lubuntu. I really like how light and fast the whole distro is, specifically on my own PC.
And after 11.10, Ubuntu normally just isn't worth it.
As for Wii operating systems, I'll stick with using it as a game console. |

@kei Yeah, Lubuntu's good. But for Ubuntu, just don't use the latest one. I mostly use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, that was back when it was nice.
And for the Wii, you don't actually install Linux over the WiiOS. You install it onto an SD card and you use a Homebrew tool to boot from the SD card. It doesn't affect your Wii's main operating system at all.
Plus, if you have a USB keyboard, it makes it a ton cooler. |

@fredrick Sounds pretty cool. Though, I'm not sure what I could really use it for that I can't do on my PC.
I mean, the performance would be better than my desktop system I guess? But really, I'm fine with what I got. |

@stick It's not about being more powerful than your PC. It's just about it being totally epic.
Did you know Sony released their own version of Linux for the PS2 called Linux for PlayStation 2 that also came with a USB keyboard and mouse, and allowed you to use your PS2 as a personal computer?
They discontinued it pretty quickly, tho, and the kits are so rare you can't even find them on eBay. |
