Windows 7 is bulky, slow, gross. I mean, Windows 8 is a big step up, but when you compare even Windows 8 to the speed of Ubuntu, Mint, or Fedora, it doesn't even come close.
Windows XP is actually amazing. The best Linux distro that could run on this little RAM would be DSL, which is not a very good distro at all.
But Windows XP is actually a pretty good operating system, and can run at exceptional speeds under a week computer. |

@Blizzard
Macs would be okay if they had compatibility and didn't require the purchasing of overly-priced crappy hardware in order to run.
Not to mention the fact that Apple is an extremely dishonorable, monstrous company. Apple disgusts me. |

| Windows XP was good at it's time. Windows 7 has more features. Windows 8 is just confusing. |

Use Mint for about a week and you'll see why it's better than Windows 7. |

@Spongebob
Are you an idiot? The entire point of Windows 8 was to simplify it! It has simpler, quicker movements, things are more blatantly obvious were to find them, faster searching, everything is meant to make it SIMPLER than Windows 7.
Someone has to be a REAL imbecile to find Windows 8 confusing. |

windows 7 was the easiest thing in the world to learn I don't get it though, if you know so much about computers why did you post a thread asking if these were good pc specs when obviously they're not :p (not trying to be mean, my old computer was horrible) |

I was being funny. That isn't even the laptop I use. It's an ancient one that's like a decade old. |
