Not really. Any useful programming language has you define the type of the variable when you create it (IE: int a = 0) which is different, and almost all use brackets instead of ends and semicolons at the end of lines. You should move on to C# or Java I would say, and work up to Python and C++ if you want to get into computer science for a career. |

| Use Unity. It's a game engine just like roblox except a heck of a lot more powerful and it ports to android, iOS, web browsers, xbox, ps3, exe programs and more. The basic version is free and the pro version only includes a few more options like render textures and light mapping. |

Lua is actually becoming more and more popular.
My dad works at Nationwide in the IT Tech Security division at their HQ. They are switching to Lua to develop their phone apps. |

It's more of a template language.
Once written, their systems convert it to C++ & Java for Android and Apple device compatibility. |

@crazy - It still sucks for them. :P
Also, iOS apps generally use Objective-C - not C++.

Well then maybe it's Objective-C.
I don't know much about it other than it translates it into functional code on Android and Apple devices. |
