I would love a Dungeons & Dragons club.
What happens is that people play Dungeons & Dragons. It's an extremely fun group game that encourages a lot of creativity.
To give an example, I will tell a story of how my party almost died from a door.
We see a door. The wizard tries using the doorknob to open it, but the doorknob disintegrates. He tries walking through the door but just bumps into it and hurts himself. The warlord in the party swings at the door with his giant hammer, just to have it bounce both him and the hammer into the ground. The warlord throws a torch at the door but it bounces the torch into his armor, which makes him catch on fire. He is rolling on the ground burning, but then the wizard tries stomping the flames out. All the wizard accomplishes is stomping on the warlord's face, which did nothing. I (The ranger) take my tunic off and try to put out the flame, but my tunic catches on fire. Seeing how I can't help in any way, I try using flint and steel to ignite the door, but the sparks bounce back and now I am on fire. Suddenly the wizard remembers that he had a waterskin, and stops the fire. The fire made the warlord's armor get welded onto him, so it's stuck on permanently. The wizard sets the door on fire magically, and it works. We proceed. |
