| For those of you who use this term, please, understand this:Noob means 'new'. Now how is 'new' offensive,in any way at all? Obviously some people can't understand this no matter how many times you tell them this. 'New' is not an offensive word, stop trying to make it one. |

Lul silly newb. Noob is slang as a user above said. It does not specifically mean new. Now newb usually refers to being new or doing something new people do.
Noob has taken on various meanings usually pointing towards being mean, annoying, stupid, or some people even call someone a noob because they are actually better (Ikr :b) |

| Well I don't know much about the word noob but I thought I was just being miss pronounced again and again, like right now it's noob but before that it was noobie and before that it was newbie (as in new be) a more fun and shorter way of saying 'being new' but since the word is slang it mean what ever most people thing it means and that would be being annoying |

| It is slang, the only time a word has a proper meaning is when it's in some kind of dictionary, thats why I don't like slang everyone argues about what it means but noob is useally an insult depending on how people use it |
