| Actually No type of computer gets the "Most" Viruses. Its the sites you go to, roblox has alot of adware... which is harmless things from un blocked ads. Where did you download the roblox exe from? IF it was from a site other than roblox. then thats stupid. NEVER DO THAT! If you want to get rid of a trojan, please go to safe mode and do a system restore, after that run a security scan, if u have no security software.... your computer is... taken over :( |

No one here knows what they're talking about. Allow me to explain this:
Trojans are a type of virus that try to disguise themselves as software you want, but once ran attempt to do malicious actions. It lends its name from the Trojan Horse, for obvious reasons. The problem here is this: if ROBLOX was actually infecting you with a virus, they'd have been shut down by the FCC and likely been sent to jail for their actions. But for the last 6 years or so, they haven't. The reason for this is simple. ROBLOX didn't infect your computer with a virus.
So where did the virus come from, then? Well, you have to ask yourself if it really was a trojan that infected your computer, or even any virus at all. It's highly likely that you, yourself, did something bad to your computer (like accidentally disabling the paging file) and are now blaming a virus for your problems. In addition, Windows tends to slow down over time naturally due to all the files that keep getting written and removed from the computer. But it is also highly possible it *was* an actual virus. In this case, the most likely cause of which was that you went to some shady website and it saved a cookie, or other form of data, on your computer that caused it to act strange - the Zero-day Java hack would be an example of a website doing this. You might have accessed the website at around the same time as installing ROBLOX and so it looked like ROBLOX caused it when in fact ROBLOX had absolutely nothing to do with it.
To be brutally honest, it's always user error that causes these problems. Kids, and even many adults, are completely computer-illiterate, leading them to go to websites that they shouldn't otherwise go to and think nothing of it, and then when something bad happens they blame a major software developer of causing the problem when it was they, themselves, who caused their own problems. Let's put this into perspective: I have ROBLOX installed on my computer, half of the programs installed on my computer are warez, I do not run an anti-virus software, my copy of Windows is disingenuous, and neither my modem nor my computer have a firewall active. If ROBLOX really was the problem, my computer wouldn't be able to turn on right now. Yet, on average, I get a single virus every 6 months or so, and it takes me a good 10 minutes to fix my PC after it.
Long story short? ROBLOX didn't give you a virus. You did something stupid and gave the virus to yourself. Try to find out what you did to damage your computer, and don't do it again. And, more importantly, stop blaming ROBLOX for your problems. ROBLOX did nothing.

ROBLOX doesn't give if your PC is hacked or damaged by *another* program, or *user error*. However, if they are the cause, they are liable so they do, indeed, care. ROBLOX isn't a Trojan. You're just an idiot. Like I said, if ROBLOX was a Trojan, wouldn't I have a broken computer by now given I have no antivirus?

Yes! You are right! ROBLOX IS A TROJAN! That totally explains why they are still in buisness, you are the only one complaining, and nobody has sued the company for thousands! (End sarcasm.)

I was beginning to think I was the only sane person on this forum. Then you came around. Thank you for this.

ROBLOX Is Virus Free. Derp.
Just Download AVG Or Norton.... Some Kind Of Protection.
You Probably Got Too Much Junk On There. |
