man that title surely throws a bunch of pigeons around
so basically I mean acts you like, but really the things you like from them aren't their "normal" stuff, or aren't their main reason, so to speak.
example being, I like opeth's more acoustic and clear vocal stuff, but aren't a fan of their whole death metal-esque thing going on, which is what opeth is mainly known for. also, I don't like their long songs, another thing they're mainly known for. same thing with in flames. I like their clear vocal songs, but I'm not a huge fan of their normal melodic death metal shtick (which is humorous because they're one of the three pioneers, so to speak).
also harvey dent was portrayed pretty cool in batman.

| I actually don't like Opeth much for the acoustic parts. I feel it distracts from the rest of the song and should really just be it's own song. I actually liked "Heritage." I'm not a big fan of Mikael's death metal vocals either and prefer his cleans. Maybe that's why I prefer "Heritage" to other stuff like "Orchid" or "Still Life." |

| Anyway, for Megadeth, my favorite album is "Youthanasia," which is filled with more lower tempo, straightforward stuff than the borderline technical thrash metal they're known for. "Risk" is also another favorite of mine which is a borderline pop-rock album. |
