For my game, (if you care enough, check my active places) I was thinking of how to go about the lobby, I liked the idea TG101 came up with, windows on 4 sides, and little detail, but I don't like his building style.
If you've ever played SilentSword's Molten Depth Minigames II, you'll see his lobby, a futuristic type with only 1 window for the average players.
I was thinking about combining both of their ideas to suit my game, but my maps are quite large, and I don't want to downsize them.
Any suggestions? |

Ah, I'd have a problem with that a bit, I like 'detailed' lobbies, so the bottom window would be smaller and cancel out a good portion of most maps, I'd probably have to move it back a bit, or put the edges with glass too.
That gave me a few good ideas, thank you. |
