(I AM THE DWARVEN EXPERT, PEOPLE.)
[-~STORYLINE~-] Dwarves are very sophisticated. We can manage an entire FORTRESS. But we need to expand. We send many dwarves out for new outposts, seven a piece. That's where YOU come in... You're the person we're trusting, the only person we depend on. YOU, the expedition leader, will send you're dwarves to glory. You will build up you're own fortress. You will trade with our caravans. You might even kill legendary beasts. But whatever you do, you must succeed in you're fortress creation. Strike the Earth!
[-~RULES~-]
1. Don't try to godmod, cheat, or hack. Loopholes will be blocked. 2. You only do what you CAN do. 3. You're given a pre-made set of items for you're expedition start. 4. Remember to put "Admantine is best ore" in you're post.
[-~STUFF TO KNOW~-] FOOD: Dwarves REQUIRE food to live. Dwarves will eat 2 food units/season. If not fed, dwarves will get unhappy thoughts. Unfed hungry dwarves will progress to starvation and untimely die. Dwarves will also try to eat vermin, but results in unhappy thoughts. Dwarves will also attempt to steal food from caravans, but the merchants won't care. But it adds to the expense. DRINK: Dwarves don't drink water, much prefer Other drinks. The drinks are made from a Still, and brewed into a barrel. It is not a requirement for dwarves to drink booze when there's a water source, but if there is no "Drinks", dwarves will use the water source, but it only causes problems down the road. HAPPINESS: Dwarves do have happiness levels, and they can decrease and increase with different thoughts. If unhappy, dwarves will go into a tantrum, and if not fixed, will lead to a VERY bad thing, involving death, madness, and many hurt dwarves. It won't be pretty, either. CARAVANS: Those are what can save a fort if low on supplies. These babies require a Trade Depot to work (and a broker), but once you trade, it's gonna be helpful. But make sure you have goods there to trade! MIGRANTS: These are new dwarves, moving into you're fortress. They can be anything. Farmers. Fighters. Miners. But they only add up to waste more supplies. If you don't want them, you might wanna try to find a way to kill them. ...And more!
(The forts are managed by my game. Also, there's no CS's, the game will provide them and stuff. |
