And by "Evening" I really mean "Good night" but that's traditionally used as a parting greeting, and there aren't any opening greetings set in the night time because the only people who meet up at night are criminals
uh
so this is my first insomnia-post since I shunned 2ollux so hopefully people can actually read my posts while I forum properly now?
ok so
tl;dr: hi it's me; discuss |

"only people who meet up at night are criminals"
this made me think of an amazing line for a romantic comedy |

"this made me think of an amazing line for a romantic comedy"
I ALMOST mentioned romance. But I thought it would ruin the tasty falseness of the sentence.
also writing romcom as "romantic comedy" does not make it any better |

"MY ONLY CRIME WAS LOVING YOU"
could fit into death row romantic comedy or normal romantic comedy? |

All of IMDB's advanced search options could not help me find this film :(
"MY ONLY CRIME WAS LOVING YOU"
this is so cliché I doubt you could pull it off to sound good even satirically |

i decided on the plot
the guy really loves this girl so he kills all the other men in her life and she really loves him so she kills all the other women in his life they both get caught and are put on trial both found guilty and they go to the chair together in love to the end <3 |

Too symmetrical
you gotta make them different in some way
maybe one has different motives? Or one dies and the other doesn't?? |

my other idea would tie in the line "my only crime was loving you"
he really loves her and kills all the men in her life she falls in love with him but then realizes he's a serial killer he gets arrested and put on trial she refuses to testify against him and is jailed as an accessory he gets convicted and placed on death row his last request is to have her in the room for his execution his last words are "my only crime was loving you" then he gets the chair and because every tragic romantic comedy has to follow the pattern of romeo and juliet she demands to get the chair too and they both get buried in the same communal grave <3
what is wrong with me why am i even considering movies like this |

I've considered worse stuff but generally it's fantasy (that's the genre not like my fantasy uMMMMM) so that's ok
add something about dying for love and it is perfect |

didnt i already say she gave herself the chair for love?
is this a good combination of chick flick and slasher that could draw everyone? |

o sorry, I meant add it in earlier as dialogue intended as a melodramatic hyperbole, only to become the tragic reality later in an ironic twist
there is nobody who wouldn't watch this except people who like dragons and fursuits but lol who cares |

i could add throwaway foreshadowing lines like "i'd kill for you" said by him before he actually starts killing people
also would this kind of movie be a financial success or is it too much chick flick for the men to want to see and too much violent murder for the women who watch chick flicks to want to see? |

Foreshadowing is good
quality of movies is actually rated on how much foreshadowing is in it which is why Of Mice and Men is the best book ever and also homestuck wait never mind
"also would this kind of movie be a financial success or is it too much chick flick for the men to want to see and too much violent murder for the women who watch chick flicks to want to see?"
no like I said the exact opposite will happen. Men will ignore the clickflickitiude in favour of the violence and vice versa for women |

ok good now i need to run the idea by a major production studio but it needs development first
this is kind of ironic since i normally dislike stuff like this if assigned for english class |

I'm pretty sure this entire conversation is ironic
I mean
My side of it is anyway (except for the part about movies' quality being measured in terms of foreshadowing 'cause that is 100% TRUFAX)
just sell the rights to steven spielburg I hear he buys anything |
