Yet another wanna-be PMC. Great.
If you actually make it a PMC, and it has all the attributes of a PMC, I will consider not hating it. Maybe even joining. |

@evered
Well, when you consider that a PMC is a military corporation that sells its military service to nationalities in an unbiased way, yes, this is a legit PMC. |

A lot of PMC groups are regular militarys. That annoys the HECK out of me. Private Military Contractors provide THEM SELF with guns and gear. Therefor, they use high grade civilian stuff. Not M4s with full auto. And they don't run around in matching BDU and gear either. Most will wear street clothes with some knee pads, etc. and a civilian grade plate carrier thrown over a t-shirt.
It's not a military. At all.
And there's no ranks/sir yes sir crap in it either. One screw up will ruin the group, and turn it into "just another wanna-be PMC. |

This much I knew, yes. I don't plan on having any particular uniform, and they'll be trained to use civilian-grade weapons, as well as the weapons that they'll encounter when hired on to help groups. |

| Unless of course, you can make it a more advances PMC, with more military attributes, but then you should explain that in the description. |

It'll be somewhere in-between the two. They'll have training for all types of weapons, and will have access to somewhat higher-than-average protection. |

PMCs RARELY train people. They only hire people with experience. Experience as in ex-special forces/special police. |

Note that the training I speak of is only what they've learned in the past. Just as a sidenote, I'm modifying how the group will operate as this thread goes along. |

I think it will be cool. Do research on PMCs. I know quite a bit about them, but not everything, and I may be missing quite a bit.
Logging off for the night. |
