| At the moment, they're still fiddling around with the iOS version of the application but hopefully when they finish, an native Android application will be available on the Google Play Store. Of course, there is also that £10 one-off developer fee and they'll need a java team. |

They are working on an iOS version of the Player but that might take a while... Once that's fully implemented, they can focus on the Android version.
If you browse the Blog, you can find the iPad tech demo of iOS ROBLOX but by the looks of that video, they started making the iPad version a long time before they actually recorded that. If you look at the GUIs, they have the classic health bar and stuff when the video was actually recorded how the health bar is presently. |

Yes, I believe that video is over a year old. Here is how I think they got everything lined up. (You may notice a lot of games are starting to come to Linux).
iOS is on its way first. Android is on its way second, but I know they have a couple devs already. They just hired a couple Linux developers. |

Sorry to sound arrogant but nobody in this thread knows what they're talking about. It's all a work in progress. An Android app is coming soon. I'm making my own version as well. |

| That's all I hear from you Tenal. "No one knows what they are talking about." I see it in the Scripters forum. It doesn't need to be here, try posting something helpful, plus we do know what we are talking about. That's why we posted it. |

I just hear it in a lot of places from you. I understand posts can be seen differently in text than voice. But, please don't say that. You are generalizing to everyone that posted in here and a lot of people besides you knows what they are talking about it.
If you are talking about "Never", that guy is just being an idiot. |

The web will only be slow depending on your Internet speed, mine is really fast because we're with VlRGlN so we get the XL package (the highest package) including 60mbps broadband, anytime calls, and TiVo.
(ROBLOX have blocked the word VlRGlN, those are lowercase Ls, not Is) XD |

Speed depends on two major factors
Your Internet connection, and your computer/device |

Actually it depends on what kind of a connection device, not internet connection. For example, I can use bluetooth connection to the internet, a wireless usb, a local network system (through a connected server/wifi), mobile network (depends on what type of system: GSA or CDMA or WCDMA), and other such connections. Then the computer clock speed doesn't tell you how fast your internet is. Computing speed tells you how fast each instruction executes. You look at network speed which tells you how fast you send bits and receive bits. Bits are each piece of information that the computer looks at to execute. In Roblox, the program is bigger so I would guess the normal 64 bit, but some smaller versions are using 32 bit, then 16 bit, 8 bit, and so on. I don't know if you would use a 256 bit program, because that would need a very large cpu that the Average Joe wouldn't be able to afford. So knowing that you need to execute instruction, the bits are sent to a cache system. This is called Cache. Simple. This is the temporary memory that then goes through the cpu, through the interpreter, and maybe a GPU and onto your screen. Such that, your internet speed doesn't depend on CPU, it depends on what form of sending and receiving information as well as your network computing power. Use CPU at your own risk when calculating and executing programs. Do not attempt to overclock or underclock CPUs if you don't have prior knowledge.
Also, what you probably mean is that the internet itself depends on CPU and internet connection. I suggest you get the latest 802.11 b/g/n for network drive / connection. Faster.

| I would like for roblox to be an app but I can see that that's not going to happen anytime soon, so I'd rather not get my hopes up. |
