So this is my last year going to the same school as the girl I like.
I'm incredibly shy so I'm afraid of telling her and I don't know what to do but if I don't do anything I'll never see her again and that'll make me incredibly sad; possibly to the point of depression.
Note: I don't expect good advice from OT, especially advice pertaining to relationships, but you never know, there could be some good advice from a female or something. |

Write her a note. Incognito confession then, BOOM.

| Express you're feelings. If they turn you down, it doesn't matter if you never meet again. You shouldn't turn to depression, there are always going to be other people just as good as that one girl. |

I just know a frontal confession isn't going to work, getting someone alone at school is impossibru with people butting it and such.

There's no solution to someone who's shy and is too scared to express feelings.
You either come out of the shell or be a loner.

| Ok now a serious reply. If you talk to her for awhile and she shows signs that she likes you, ask her out. I mean if you get turned down you get turned down. Now being depressed over that is a little to far. |

And don't be so dramatic. You have a crush on a girl, yet if you don't get her, you'll be depressed?
My God, what has society become?
There's PLENTY of fish in the sea. That reigns true.

@dino
but there's never a good time to talk to her
and if I just struck up a conversation with her in the middle of class it'd be weird because I'm always really, really quiet |

| JUst go to her. It will be fine. Just say what you have to say. Don't screw and be all like "Babe I am here for you". That will not work. |

ONCE AGAIN, THERE'S NO PLACE IN ROMANCE FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN'T WILLING TO PUT THEMSELVES OUT THERE.
You're asking a question with an inevitable end. Come out of your shell or you'll lose her. The only choice there is.

Trust me, kid, you may feel like she's the love of your life or some nonsense, but she isn't. I'm guessing by your knowledge on this stuff that you're like, what, 13? 14?
You have the rest of your life to find the perfect girl.

"Do you like me?
[]Yes []No"
Then draw a smiley face and a robot to keep her entertained.

yes
I know that
whenever I ask this question or look for people in similar situations it always ends with "come out of your damn shell"
but isn't there some way
I can do it
subtly |

| Find some way to communicate with her anonymously, ask a friend to find out if she plays any online games, social networks, or other websites. If she does, just walk up to her, ask her if she uses said game/social network/website, and when she says "yes", tell her that you coincidentally use it (if you don't, tell her that you either just joined or were thinking about joining). Ask her for her username, and add her. Then, rather than encountering her on the account she knows you're using, make ANOTHER account, and befriend her from that one (obviously don't tell her you are who you are). Then, once you get to know her from an outsider's perspective, and overcome any nervousness you've previously had, ask her out IRL (whether you reveal that you are who you are or not is up to you). Also, just a side-note, this would be better on an online game, because social networks generally involve RL information. |

No. It's like asking if its possible to escape a meteor that's 50 miles long and only 1 mile above your current location.
There's only one option that will help: Happen to have a device that can amount tons of pressure. Otherwise die.
It can't be done any other way. If she doesn't even know you have some sort of interest in her, there's no subtle way.
Maybe get a hold of her phone number or something, text her, be a good friend...?

that plan seems like a pretty good plan
except
she doesn't seem like the type of person who plays online games
but I can still try |
