Every always complains about this.
First person to hit them gets the points. U can clip them ONCE with a assault rifle. Another person does all the damage and u get the points.
That's how it works |

No it doesn't.
The person that does the most damage to them gets the kill.

I beta tested Spectrum, multiple times.
CT and the devs made it clear that the person that gets the most damage on a person receives the kill and the experience/Aurem that comes with it.
Do not attempt to tell me that I am wrong when you do not know yourself.

Ok You are wrong. I do damage on every person without killing them, let other ppl kill them and get the points everytime.
Lots of people at borealis have told me that this is correct. |

@bb
If you didn't do enough damage in comparison to someone else, then you don't get the points.
Just don't make threads like these, okay? I know RAT has worked very hard, and I know I'd be offended if someone told me I did something wrong on a system I spent almost 8 months on.. |

@bbal
from what it sounds, you're a little confused.
You just stated that if you deal damage without killing them, the next one to kill them soon after receives the points.
So e_e? |

Alright, bballer, you're making this way too hard on yourself.
I do not care what you SEE, because you cannot see the code itself, nor can you tell if someone else has damaged a person at the same time as you.
I know for an absolute fact that the scripts are designed the way I have stated.

@Hacker1Leo
The original post (in which the things stated are implied to be factual):
"Every always complains about this.
First person to hit them gets the points. U can clip them ONCE with a assault rifle. Another person does all the damage and u get the points.
That's how it works" -------- -------- My neutral toned response:
"No it doesn't.
The person that does the most damage to them gets the kill.
[UAFCOM] ~DH~" -------- -------- His condescending reply (implying I do not know the content on which I am speaking):
"DH, No...Not true at all. The system there is different." -------- -------- My borderline neutral-hateful reply:
"I beta tested Spectrum, multiple times.
CT and the devs made it clear that the person that gets the most damage on a person receives the kill and the experience/Aurem that comes with it.
Do not attempt to tell me that I am wrong when you do not know yourself.
[UAFCOM] ~DH~" -------- -------- His condescending reply (still implying I have no idea as to what I'm talking about):
"Ok You are wrong. I do damage on every person without killing them, let other ppl kill them and get the points everytime.
Lots of people at borealis have told me that this is correct." -------- -------- My 'last straw' reply:
"Alright, bballer, you're making this way too hard on yourself.
I do not care what you SEE, because you cannot see the code itself, nor can you tell if someone else has damaged a person at the same time as you.
I know for an absolute fact that the scripts are designed the way I have stated.
[UAFCOM] ~DH~" -------- -------- His submissive final reply:
"Ok fain I'm wrong :( qq. Thanks for clearing that up guys. Sorry for wasting your time." -------- -------- Your condescending remark about my handling of the situation:
"@DH
Okay, now that you've given your side,
can you take your attitude and just leave?"
Implying that I would continue to argue with someone who accepts my point as fact, implying I instigate conflicts with other individuals, implying my attitude towards his replies was unjustified, etc.
I feel as if I handled the situation in the appropriate manner.
I started with a neutral response, became a little more forceful, and then used tone to drive the point home in the third reply.
I mean, hacker, if you feel as if I handled this incorrectly, rather than thinking I lack the intelligence to leave a finished argument, maybe you could ask me to speak a little more kindly.
Regards,
